📖 Story: The Whispering Dictionary
In the heart of Juba stood an old library that many had forgotten.
Dust covered its shelves, and cobwebs filled its corners — but one book remained untouched by time: a large, golden dictionary.
One afternoon, a curious boy named Michael entered the library, searching for a quiet place to study. As he opened the golden book, he heard a soft voice whisper,
“Use me well, and I’ll give you the world.”
Startled, Michael looked around — no one was there.
The next day, he returned. Each time he opened the book and read a new word, the world around him changed — people began listening to him, his teachers praised him, and he grew more confident.
But soon, pride took over. Michael stopped helping his friends and laughed at those who couldn’t speak English well.
One morning, when he opened the dictionary again, the pages were blank. The whisper came once more:
“Words are powerful — but useless in the mouth of pride.”
Michael closed the book and wept. From that day, he used his words not to show off, but to teach others — and the pages came back, one by one.
💡 Lesson / Moral:
Language is not for pride — it’s for purpose.
The more you share what you know, the more wisdom grows in you.

📖 Story: The Cup of Water
One morning, a teacher walked into class carrying a glass of water.
Everyone expected her to ask the usual question: “Is this glass half full or half empty?”
But she smiled and said, “How heavy do you think this glass is?”
Students gave different answers — “200 grams,” “500 grams,” “maybe a kilo!”
The teacher shook her head.
“It doesn’t matter how heavy it is,” she said. “What matters is how long you hold it.”
“If I hold it for a minute, it’s light.
If I hold it for an hour, my arm will ache.
If I hold it all day, my arm will go numb and I’ll drop it. The weight doesn’t change — but the longer I hold it, the heavier it feels.”
She looked around the class and added,
“Your worries, fears, and regrets are just like this glass of water.
Think about them for a while — nothing happens.
Hold onto them for too long — and they’ll crush you.
Put them down every evening before you sleep. That’s how you find peace.”
---

Don’t carry yesterday’s worries into today.
Peace begins when you learn to put the glass down.

📖 Story: The Boy and the Empty Chair
In a small village, a young boy named Peter loved to attend his evening English class.
Every day, he sat in the same wooden chair near the window. One day, he arrived and found a new student sitting in his place.
Peter frowned. “That’s my chair,” he said.
The new student smiled politely. “I didn’t know. There were no other empty seats.”
Peter felt angry and sat in the corner. But during the lesson, he noticed something — the new boy was struggling to read. His voice shook, and the class laughed.
Peter’s heart softened. After class, he walked up to him and said, “You can keep the chair. Let’s read together tomorrow.”
The next day, both of them sat on that chair — sharing the same book, reading word by word.
By the end of the week, the new boy could read a full paragraph on his own.
That day, Peter realized that sometimes, giving up your seat doesn’t make you smaller — it makes you greater.
---
💡 Lesson / Moral:

📖 Story: The Broken Pencil
One day, a young boy named Daniel was doing his homework when his pencil broke.
Frustrated, he threw it away and went to find another one.
His grandfather, who was sitting nearby, picked up the broken pencil and began to sharpen it.
Daniel looked puzzled. “Grandpa, why are you wasting time on that old pencil?”
The old man smiled and said, “My boy, this pencil is like you. What matters is not the outside, but what’s inside. When it breaks, we don’t throw it away — we sharpen it so it can write again.”
Daniel thought for a moment and said, “So when I make mistakes, I just need to fix myself — not give up?”
His grandfather nodded. “Exactly. Every time life breaks you, it’s just sharpening you for something greater.”
