The Ministry of General Education and Instruction is hereby instructing and assuring the WHOLE PUBLIC of South Sudan that Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools will automatically begin Monday 02/02/2026.

Senior ones (S.1) are not to be registered since the primary eight exams of the academic year 2025 is under marking.

Our parents are therefore strongly requested to send their children to school because lessons are supposed to start immediately from that date of 02/02/2026 as stated clearly by the Honourable Minister Kuyok Bol Kuyok on the letter attached below.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. A bachelor/deploma degree in education or a relevant subject area with a recognized teaching qualifications.
2. Professional training in teaching methodologies and classroom management.
3. A minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching experience.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. High level of self - discipline, professionalism and commitment to duty.
6. Leadership experience: Significant experience in Senior roles (e.g. Head of department, Head teacher) is crucial, often at least 4 years in a senior leadership position.

# Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with students, staff, parents and the community.
