Violence erupted at the Sudanese Embassy in Juba, South Sudan, as Sudanese nationals clashed with embassy staff and police, according to multiple eyewitnesses.
The unrest was triggered by the embassy's failure to provide travel documents for over 1,000 Sudanese citizens.
The dispute escalated into physical altercations, resulting in multiple injuries among diplomats and security personnel.
The police, who are responsible for security at the embassy, were overwhelmed by the outrage citizens.
The exact number of injured individuals is unclear due to the ongoing chaos.
