To: National executive Director,
Teachers Without Borders Association -TBA.
Subject: PETITION FOR THE REMOVAL OF MR. ANGELO CHIWER LONGAR, TBA'S COORDINATOR, WARRAP STATE DUR TO BREACH OF TRUST, BIAS AND FAILURES OF LEADERSHIP.
Dear Sir/Madam
We, the administration of United Nursery, primary and secondary school__ Two sisters institutions operating under a shared leadership___ write yo your esteemed office with great respect and deep concern. We wish to formally, after careful deliberation and in the interests of the welfare of out students, staffs, and institutions, notify your office that both schools have resolved to suspended their membership in the Teachers Without Borders Association (TBA), Warrap State with immediate effect from the date of this letter. This descion shall remain in force unless and until a comprehensive change of TBA'S current leadership and government structure is undertaken. Furthermore, effective immediately, both institutions have withdrawn from all activities organised under the leadership of the current TBA administration in warrap state.
The following are the details ground for our descions.
1: LACK OF INCLUSIVE REPRESENTATIVE LEADERSHIP.
The current TBA committee is composed exclusively of teachers from St. Augustine secondary school, along with formers students from the same institution. This arrangement is fundamentally contrary to the spirit and purpose of a cross-Institutional body such TBA, which is mean to represent and serve all members school equitable. The absence of meaningful representation from other member schools has resulted in a leadership structure that prioritise the interests of one institution at the expensive of other.
2: FAILURE TO NOTIFY MEMBER SCHOOLS IN A TIMELY MANNER.
On repeated occasions, The TBA administration has organised a competitions and other activities Without providing an adequate and timely notice to member schools. This disregard for proper communication has has consistently placed other institutions at a disadvantages, undermine fairs participation and proper operation. Timely notification is a basic administrative requirement and its absence suggests a systemtic failure in the government of the Association.
3: INCITEMENT OF VIOLENT AND MISCONDUCT BY TBA'S COORDINATOR AND STAFF OF ST. AUGUSTINE SECONDARY SCHOOL.
We wish to draw your attention to a deeply troubling incident that occurred dated 29/April, during the most recent concluded TBA'S tournament. Following St. Augustine secondary school's victory, a group of students from that school accompanied by teachers___ including the TBA coordinator (Angelo Chiwer Longar)__ engaged in provocative behavior that escalated into a violent confrontation. Students and staff from St. Augustine secondary school proceed to united Nursery and primary school where, in a distrusting acts of aggression, one public and one member of supported staff (cook) were stoned and sustained injuries. The active presence and involvement of the TBA coordinator and other teachers from St. Augustine secondary school alongside the students during this incident is a matter of grave concern. It represent a serious disregard for professional duty and a violation of the standards expected of educators.
In light of the above, we respectfully call upon your esteemed office to intervene in this matter thoroughly and to take appropriate action with respect to the TBA'S leadership visions. We remain committed to the noble objectives of inter-school collaboration and Academic development; However, we can't in good conscience continue to participate in an environment that compromises the safety, fairness and dignity of our students and staffs. We trusted your office with treats this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves, and we look forward to a prompt and constructive response.
Yours Sincerely,
KADY HENRY.
