"MY CULTURE MY IDENTITY"

The culture so swanlike, wonderful and beauteous,
Can I refuse to put it on to make me righteous?
When clad in the culture, I feel confident,
So confident because culture gives you all the intent.
My culture so wonderful and beautiful!

Identify me as you look at my mask,
The colored mask that I wear everyday —
Like the colored liquid in a crystal flask;
So clear and visible like the sun at the day.
My Culture is my mask!

If people gather, chatting and telling stories,
I would have nothing to enlighten them apart from my culture —
The culture so educative and full of glories.
My identity is my culture!

If you can take me, yeah, you can take me out of the culture,
But can you take the culture out of me?
No, I am nurtured in culture and there's always my pleasure,
That is the mask you can feel and see in me.
I'm cemented and planted in my culture!

If in the social gathering, culture speaks of itself —
Though distorted, it is so wonderful and peaceful;
The gem so rare — worths of being displayed in the shelf,
To keep reminding all people to stay in peace full.
