Modern Academy N/P School proudly recognizes its iconic administrator, Mr. Alphayo Majok Majak.

Mr. Alphayo Majak has dedicated his talent, time, and experience to making Modern Academy N/P School the best in South Sudan.His journey began in 2023 when he was appointed as the Director of Studies (DOS). Upon assuming office, Mr. Majok significantly improved numerous areas that were hindering academic success. During his tenure, he ensured that exams were prepared promptly and lessons were delivered effectively.

Mr. Alphayo illuminated the path to achievement, demonstrating a maturity that could not be overlooked, leading to his appointment as Deputy Principal for the 2024-2025 academic year. Mr. Alphayo worked tirelessly to improve discipline, a goal he successfully achieved. Since his appointment as Deputy Principal, there has been a sharp decline in disciplinary cases, making Modern Academy a suitable environment for learning.

In January 2026, Mr. Alphayo was appointed as the Principal. Without a doubt, he has mirrored his previous principles to bolster the top administration of Modern Academy Nursery and Primary School. He is a tenacious, tireless, and thorough principal who consistently acts in the best interest of everyone.The teaching staff, pupils, and everyone at Modern Academy are proud to have him.

MEET THE FACE BEHIND LANGUAGE TRANSFORMATION AT MODERN ACADEMY NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL.

Ustaz Madol Paul is a multi-talented young man whose impact doesn't go unnoticed.
Mr. Madol, despite a wealth of opportunities, opted to uplift the young generation of South Sudan through quality education.

He has taught English language across more than three schools for about 7 years since 2019.
To him, the greatest achievement of a man is not the wealth he accumulates or the knowledge he gains, but the people he lifts up to see the light.

He is a proficient teacher boasting a proven track record of raising pupil performance through tailored, evidence-based instructions.
In his last seven years of academic support, he's taught in the following schools:
1. Inter–Ethnic P/S (2019—2022)
2. King's wisdom P/S (2022—2023)
3. Bornwell Academy P/S (2024—2025)
4. Modern Academy P/S (2025—present)

Beyond teaching English Language, he has also served as the headteacher at Inter–Ethnic, deputy headteacher at Bornwell Academy P/S and currently deputy headteacher at Modern Academy P/S.

Besides academic excellence, he's also a dedicated footballer who has featured for several football clubs in South Sudan. His love for sports engineered the school team to glory at Kuluna Active Talent tournament 2025.

We are pleased to announce that Modern Academy Primary and Secondary School has successfully connected to the city electricity supply.
The school now has two reliable sources of power:
City Power – Our main and primary source of electricity.
Generator Backup – Available to ensure uninterrupted power whenever city electricity is unavailable.
This investment was made by the School Management to strengthen our academic programs and provide students with a better learning environment.
Reasons for Installing City Power
1. Continuous Operation of Computer and Science Laboratories
With a stable electricity supply, our Computer Laboratory and Science Laboratory can operate effectively throughout the day and evening. This ensures that:
All pupils and students will have regular access to computer lessons.
Practical science experiments can be conducted without interruption.
Learning is enhanced through the use of modern technology and laboratory equipment.
Students gain essential digital skills needed for higher education and future careers.
2. Improved Quality of Education

Reliable electricity supports the use of computers, projectors, internet services, and laboratory equipment, helping Modern Academy maintain high academic standards and prepare learners for the modern world.
