Ayii University attended the launch of a new product by Ecobank which is aiming at financing Education in the following thematic areas;

1.School infrastructure financing.
2. Working capital loan
3. Digital Education loan.
4. Lecturers/Teachers Salary Advances
5. Green / sustainability financing solar, water, wastes and ecofriendly green projects

Ayii University quality assurance team headed by Dr Stephenson Nkurikiyimana and Dr. Ayii Guet Ayii are in Rwanda for the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) Quality Assurance Conference as well as benchmarking mission on the medical and pharmaceutical laboratories in Rwanda.

The team that is currently at the University of Rwanda is also expected to visit other Universities to guide on the establishment of a State of the Art medical Diagnostic Center at Ayii University in the G+ 7 tower.

NEWS: PROF. GATWECH KOAK NYUON ASSUMES OFFICE AS DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR FOR ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE AT AYII UNIVERSITY

JUBA — 1 September 2026 – Prof. Gatwech Koak Nyuon has officially assumed office as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) for Administration and Finance at Ayii University.

The handover ceremony, conducted by outgoing DVC Prof. Amos Anguyo C. Jame, included the transfer of office assets such as laptop, printer, and a vehicle. The event was witnessed by the Chancellor and Founder, Prof. Isaac Ayii; DVC for Academic Affairs, Prof. Koc Ruben Ramzi; and Graduate College Principal, Prof. Jong Anthony Deng.

In his remarks, Prof. Nyuon thanked his predecessor and pledged to work collegially with the university team. Chancellor Prof. Isaac Ayii commended the spirit of unity and warmly welcomed the new DVC.

The university community wishes Prof. Nyuon every success in his new role.

AYII UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO CHINESE EMBASSY

JUBA – The leadership of Ayii University has paid a courtesy visit to the Chinese Embassy, where the delegation held discussions with Her Excellency Madam Huo Ying, the Chargé d'Affaires.

During the meeting, Madam Huo warmly received the university officials and lauded the institution for its proactive engagement in teaching and community outreach. She further encouraged the university administration to sustain and expand these vital programs in the interest of national progress.

The delegation was led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof.Isaac Ayii Ayii, and included Prof. Gatwech Koak Nyuon, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance; Prof. Koc Ruben Ramzi, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; and Mr. Malith Dak Deng, the University's Goodwill Ambassador.

The visit marks a significant step in strengthening the collaborative ties between the South Sudanese academic community and the Chinese diplomatic mission, reinforcing a shared vision for educational growth, cultural exchange, and people-to-people ties.

BREAKING NEWS: SOUTH SUDAN GENERAL MEDICAL COUNCIL LICENSED AYII UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Ayii University has officially been granted the Certificate of Registration as a Medical Training Institution by the South Sudan General Medical Council—making it the first university in the country to receive this certification with the registration No: SSGMC/MTI/001.

This landmark achievement officially qualifies the university to confer degrees in Medicine. This is a monumental step forward for our institution and the future of healthcare in South Sudan.
