Thank you so much Teachers Without Borders Association -TBA and Tendek media for sharing the inspiring story of Mayom Abuoi Garang a learner from Landmark Academy Schools

We would like to kindly update the public that Mayom Abuoi Garang is no longer at salaam in sherikat.
Due to his condition/disability and for better care and support, He was transferred and is currently at Landmark Academy NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL.

He has been granted a full bursary Up to primary eight (P8) at landmark Academy, To ensure he continues his education without interruption.

We're very grateful to everyone who supported him from the cattle camp to the classroom.

let's continue to support him and keep hope alive. Disability is not an inability.

SUBJECT: HOLIDAY GUIDELINES AND SCHOOL REOPENING DATES

Dear Parents/Guardians and Pupils,

As we are for holiday break, the school management wishes all our pupils a safe, restful, and productive holiday.

HOW TO SPEND THE HOLIDAYS

We encourage all pupils to:
1. Revise and Read: Go through past topics and read story books to keep your mind active.
2. Help at Home: Assist parents/guardians with simple home chores and learn new skills.
3. Stay Safe: Avoid dangerous games, swimming in unsafe areas, and moving around alone. Observe road safety at all times.
4. Stay Healthy: Eat balanced meals, maintain personal hygiene, and get enough rest.
5. Be Responsible: Use TV, phones, and internet positively for learning. Avoid bad company.

Parents/Guardians are kindly requested to monitor and guide the pupils during this period.

SCHOOL REOPENING DATES - TERM 3

Please take note of the reporting dates:
- Boarders: Sunday, 6th September 2026 - Report between 2:00pm and 5:00pm
- Day Scholars: Monday, 7th September 2026- Report by 6:30am

Pupils should report in full school uniforms with all required items. Late reporting will not be accepted without a valid reason communicated to the school in advance.

We look forward to welcoming all pupils back for a successful Term 3.
