Today in the afternoon, Mr. Puok Diew Liep, the Deputy Head Teacher of Liech Primary School was picked up in the camp and taken to the bush together with his colleague, Ustaz Gatkuoth Chan. There, they were beaten seriously by the bodyguards of the governor.

After they were mercilessly tortured and beaten by the government they called their own, then they took them to the prison. Now, both of them are nursing wounds in the cell. This injustice and brutality against innocent citizens of Unity State MUST stop.

Emmanuel Gatbouk has reported to us that his wife, Nyakim Gatjuat Jal, went missing on December 18, 2025, in Gulu, Uganda.

Nyakim disappeared in the afternoon, leaving behind their 5-month-old baby at home. Emmanuel is urgently appealing to the public for any information that could help locate her.
