1. The Broken Drum of Unity
In a small village divided by tribal misunderstandings, there was an old drum placed in the village square. The drum was only beaten during important meetings.
One day, two youth groups from different communities started arguing during a football match. The argument grew, and elders feared it might turn violent.
An old woman stood up and said,
"Bring the drum."
When they tried to beat it, the drum produced no sound — it was broken.
The woman said,
"This drum is like our village. If it is broken, no message can be heard. If we are divided, our future becomes silent."
The youth looked at each other in shame. Instead of fighting, they worked together to repair the drum.
From that day, the drum was only beaten when the village did something together — building schools, planting trees, celebrating harvest.
Message: Peace is the sound of unity. When we repair relationships, we restore our strength.
