Subject: Declaration of the end of the tenure of unity state students union leadership.

With due respect and great honor, the leadership of Unity State Students' union in universities and higher institutes is courteously announced officially that the union's leadership tenure has come to an end.

The outgoing leadership of Unity State Students union appreciated the unity state Dignitaries who are working in the national government and private sectors for their unwavering support that they rendered to unity state students.

However, it's great pleasure to unity state students union leadership who handed over the union leadership peacefully to the General assemble.
We also thank the unity state students for the truth worthy bestowed upon us to lead this great union for the period of one year in the office.

We also thank our able nominated electoral committee. who are going to conduct the free and fair election for accepting the task given to them by the unity state students.

To the team of unity state students union executives who are working days and nights to make sure that the vision and mission of this great union are fulfilled. as chairperson, i thank all of you so much for your tireless effort.

Also, as a team, we urge all the unity state students to keep the spirit of integrity and dignity of this great union.

It's great pleasure to people of unity state who have sons and daughters who graduated today from different school in university of Juba.

However, we urge all you, the graduates, to go back home and transform the lives of our society with knowledge that you have acquired from different especialisation in the University of Juba as part of the nation building.

Tuesday,15 August 2023. Untiy state students union leadership met vice president for physical and infrastructure his excellency General Taban Deng G*i. The union leadership has explained core challenges that are facing unity state students, especially students dare and others encountering issues.
His excellency briefed union leadership to work hard to fulfill promises and make sure no one left behind. Moreover he encouraged leadership to promote unity among students, all students have to concentrate in their studies and continue to follow their dreams.

Union leadership has appreciated his excellency for his hospitality,kindness and compassion.

The leadership of Unity State Students union today met with Dr.changkel Banak Riak, vice president of Sudd petroleum operating company (SPOC).

Where the leadership of Unity State Students union and Dr.changkel Banak Riak discussed the issues of sponsorships, internships, and scholarships.

In the meeting, the vice president of (SPOC) Dr.changkel Banak promised the leadership of the Unity State Students union to address the issue of sponsorships of students under block 5A as soon as possible.

Also, Dr.changkel Banak told the union leadership to sit with General Management of Spoc to provide the internships to the students who are under the sponsorships of Block 5A.

Therefore, the leadership of the Unity State Students union appreciated Dr.changkel Banak for his hospitality and kindness that he showed to the leadership of Unity State Students union during the meeting.

The leadership of Unity State Students union in universities and higher institutes would like to congratulate and welcome the appointment of Dr. Changkel Banak Riak as Vice president of Sudd Opereating Company (Spoc).

However, the truth worthy bestowed upon you by the Managing Director of Nilepet Eng. Bernard Amuor is welcomed by citizens of unity state and South Sudan at large.

Your appointment shall be reflected by your bold stand, love and support with integrity to citizens of South Sudan and people of unity state in particular.

Besides this your fairness in distribution of public service to citizens of South Sudan from national level to the grassroots shall be a great privilege to our people.

On 10th January 2023. Unity state students union met with Hon Malual Tap Diu minister of finance and economic planning unity state. The leadership presented the challenges that are facing unity state students in their respective universities and higher institutes.

Hon Malual Tap Diu emboldened the leadership not to hesitate to address issues that students has experienced in their studies and promised that he has to continue to respond to students demands and wishes.

The union is honored to unity state government for their supports and consideration to students activities.

At the one of the greatest and most historical occasion of the year, honoring the inaugural Ceremony of South Sudan National Students'Union (SSNSU) leadership under the Chairmanship of Khamis Othow Omot. The occasion was graced by the highest Dignitaries in the land in person of:
1) H.E Hussein Abdelbagi Akol- Vice president for service cluster-ROSS.
2) Hon.Gabriel Changson Chang- Minister of higher education, science and technology- ROSS
3) Different Undersecretaries in various ministries, Students' desk in the Ministery of Higher education, Students leaders among others in the land of South Sudan.

On behalf of Unity state we already cemented a good working relationship with the national Students body as Unity state Students'union in universities and higher institutes (USSU-UHI) leadership and we wish them the best in their leadership.

Nonetheless, the most special congratulations goes to Hon. Mer Manas Liep for being inaugurated as Finance Minister in the cabinet representing the students of Unity state in the National Students'Union.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE ON THE MOST HISTORIC DAY AND THE RE- INSTALLATION OF DEMOCRACY IN UNITY STATE STUDENTS POLITICS AFTER GOOD 9 YEARS OF PARALYSIS BY THE COUNTRY CIVIL WAR.
On behave of the former Steering Committee for Unity State Students' Union in Universities and Higher Institutes (USSU-UHI), I am extending my heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to New elected Chairperson Hon. Eng. Machieng Tap Hoth and the Speaker elected Hon. Stephen Nyak Phal for trust bestowed upon them by their beloved Unity state students Delegates to the Union.

My personal appreciation also goes to the following groups for having shown the Commitment, responsibility and leadership.

a) The former Counties Associations Chairpersons for the most genuine initiative of having formed the Committee and subsequent follow up by the incumbent Chairpersons
b) Former Steering Committee Members for their effort of union revitalization that brought us upto this far.
c) Electoral Committee effort of facilitation to conduct the most free and fair Elections, the rare case ever done in the state Students politics without the direct interference and intimidation from the external political players.
d) The observers from different bodies including South Sudan National Youth Union and state government officials.
e) The candidates who lost the elections and yet shown leadership by accepted the defeat for sake of our unity and democracy led by Hon. Rodah Nyaduel Nyieth
f) The beloved Honorable Delegates who conducted themselves in a very peaceful and most matured manner through out the elections process.

FINALLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE SUPPORT RENDERED BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT AND OTHER WELL WISHERS.

Now the challenge is tie on the neck of the new Leadership to prove themselves right or wrong before their fellow students.

The USSU-UHI provisional leadership directed the Seven (7) counties associations assemblies through their Chairpersons yesterday to nominates delegates at sitting of their General assemblies to the union. Moreover the Chairpersons were served with the USSU-UHI constitution copies for their consumption as the guide for the nomination and further steps within the union.
