Congratulations are sent by Galkayo College of English to the winning candidates in the Galkayo University election for secretary, deputy chairman, and chairman of the Galkayo University Students Association.

Ilyas Hassan Dahir was recently elected chairman, Fawsiya Ibrahim Isse was elected deputy chairman, and Mr. Abdirisaq Mohamed Ali was elected secretary.

All University students participated in that fair election and cast their votes.This was done in order to raise Somalia's understanding of the
possibility of "one man
one vote."

We also commend the electoral commission,
which played a major role in the success of
the election.
