The official inauguration ceremony of the ๐‰๐š๐ฆ๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฒ๐š ๐’๐“๐„๐Œ ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ (๐‰๐’๐‚) was successfully concluded. The Center is a new initiative dedicated to advancing ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž, ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ, ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ (๐’๐“๐„๐Œ) education in Somalia.

The launch ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives from the ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, the ๐๐š๐ง๐š๐š๐๐ข๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž, the ๐๐š๐ง๐š๐š๐๐ข๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐ฌ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ, and the leadership of Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology, all of whom delivered encouraging remarks emphasizing the importance of strengthening STEM education and innovation opportunities for Somali youth.

Education officials highly commended the establishment of the Jamhuriya STEM Center (JSC), emphasizing its important role in expanding practical STEM education and increasing studentsโ€™ exposure to emerging technologies such as AI, Coding, Robotics, and other emerging technologies, contributing to the development of a new generation of Somali scientists, engineers, innovators, and technology leaders capable of competing in the modern world.
