Kulanka waxaa aqoon iyo wacyigelin ku saabsan caafimaadka maskaxda, ka hortagga qabatinka maandooriyaha iyo fayo-qabka shakhsiga la wadaagay dhalinyarada. Waxaa barnaamijka soo jeediyay Ustaad Abdullahi Abdulaziz, Dean-ka Faculty of Business & Management, HR Specialist & Mental Wellness Advocate, iyo Drs. Ijabo Abdullahi, Mental Health Activist & Medical Expert.

Barnaamijku wuxuu dhiirrigeliyay ka qaybgalka firfircoon ee dhalinyarada, wada-hadal furan, go’aanno masuuliyad leh iyo in dhalinyaradu door muuqda ka qaataan horumarinta caafimaadka iyo badqabka bulshadooda.

Hindisahan wuxuu ka tarjumayaa sida Faculty of Business & Management ay muhiimad gaar ah u siiso **u adeegidda bulshada iyo masuuliyadda bulshada (Community Engagement & Social Responsibility)**. Faculty-gu wuxuu aaminsan yahay in kaalinta jaamacaddu aysan ku koobnayn waxbarashada fasalka oo keliya, balse ay sidoo kale tahay inay aqoonteeda iyo khibraddeeda uga faa’iideyso bulshada, awood-siiso dhalinyarada, kana qaybqaadato xalinta caqabadaha bulshada.

Waxaan u mahadcelinaynaa SDS, Naadiga Dhalinyarada Nabadda ee Muqdisho, SONSA – Somalia Non-State Actors, iyo dhammaan ka qaybgalayaasha kaalintii ay ka qaateen guusha barnaamijkan.

Mental health and drug addiction are major challenges affecting the well-being and future of young people. This awareness session will address Mental Health, Drug & Substance Addiction, Prevention, Stigma Reduction, and Community Support.

The session will be delivered by Drs. Ijabo Abdullahi, Mental Health Activist and Medical Expert, alongside Abdullahi Abdulaziz, Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management, HR Specialist, Mental Wellness Advocate, and author of Maskaxdaada Ilaasho.

The event is organized by Naadiga Dhallinyarada Nabadda ee Muqdisho and Somali Diaspora Support (SDS), and facilitated by the Faculty of Business & Management, Zamzam University of Science & Technology.

Our Economics graduate, Sumaya Muhumed Ahmed, was part of the team behind the Somali Governance Forum 2026, hosted by Somali Public Agenda (SPA) in Mogadishu on August 26–27 under the theme “Finding Common Ground: Electoral Models, Political Consensus, and Somalia’s Democratic Future.”

Her participation demonstrates the Faculty of Business and Management’s commitment to developing graduates who combine academic knowledge with practical engagement in national issues. We are proud to see our graduates contributing to platforms that promote dialogue, good governance, inclusive decision-making, and Somalia’s democratic development.

Empowering future business leaders goes beyond the classroom. Our Faculty of Business and Management participated in the National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC) Consultation Workshop, organized by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, held on 2–3 August 2026 at Hotel Jazeera, Mogadishu.

The Faculty participated through Summaya Kulmiye Anshur, a newly graduated Banking and Finance student, who actively engaged in discussions on trade facilitation, private sector development, and strengthening Somalia's business environment.

Her participation reflects the Faculty's commitment to preparing graduates who contribute meaningfully to national development and engage in professional platforms that shape the future of Somalia's economy.
