Yesterday, 26th June, was a remarkable day for all Somalis to celebrate and commemorate on the 65th anniversary of independence Day for the northern Somali regions. It was the first day in history when the Somali national flag was officially raised and fluttered over in an independent somali territory to signify as a symbol of liberation from the British colonial rule.
As a school, we marked this momentous day with great enthusiasm and joy as this annual independent event reinforces our commitment to the coexistance of peace, prosperity and national pride.

This significant initiative of distributing eyeglasses and walking canes to learners with special needs after being screened was launched by NRC in our school. The goal was to improve and help learners with physical and visual impairments. Therefore, We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Norwegian Refugee Council(NRC) and their dedicated team for the unwavering commitment and generosity in supporting learners with vision problems that impeded their inability to read, write and participate actively in class.
