We often carry great stress due to various problems which we cannot handle. When stress reaches a culmination, then for whatever reason the unconscious mind relieves it on the closest ones. We need a random victim to free ourselves of tension, which we are not able to hold in ourselves. This will always be the person closest to our heart, because we will not voice our expression to random persons. Such a reaction frees of pain for a short time, because the problem was not solved consciously. Unconscious relief of stress always hurts the closest, innocent victims, only because they were the nearest to us. Such behaviour only seemingly and temporarily frees us from internal tensions. In reality, no problem has been solved and stress will return with doubled strength, enlarged with oblivious remorse for hurting our closest ones. Awareness of one’s own reactions allows you to relieve your own stress in a conscious way without the need to hurt others which are close to our heart.
