International Day of Education & Career Day at BISD

Our school was buzzing with excitement as learners dressed up in fantastic career costumes, proudly stepping into the roles of military doctors, pilots, chefs, officers, and more! 👨🏽‍⚕️👩🏾‍✈️👩🏽‍🍳

The celebration was made even more special by our amazing parents, who shared real-life experiences from a wide range of professions—sparking curiosity, confidence, and big dreams in our learners.

This week, our students took part in a truly educative and inspiring leadership election process. From campaigning to casting their votes, learners experienced democracy in action—understanding fairness, responsibility, and the power of choice.

These elections were more than just selecting leaders; they were a hands-on civic lesson, helping students build confidence, communication skills, and respect for democratic values from an early age.

Our spring term has officially begun, and the first week has been filled with energy, curiosity, and beautiful moments of learning. We’re excited for all that’s ahead!

Today, our students stepped beyond the classroom and into the world of knowledge with an unforgettable visit to the Museum of Black Civilizations, Dakar, and the British Council.

They explored powerful stories of African heritage, creativity, and excellence, while also engaging in dynamic learning activities that broadened their global outlook. It was a day filled with curiosity, excitement, and meaningful learning moments.
