*A Historic Endeavor for Perri Chiefdom*

Episode 1

In the annals of Perri Chiefdom's history, the legacy of the Gogra family is etched deeply, a testament to their commitment to the welfare of the people. Rooted in the migration from Mali to Sierra Leone in the early 17th century, the Gogra family played a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of the Chiefdom under British colonization.

In 1885, a Treaty was signed by representatives of the Gogra family and other eminent figures, forging an agreement with the British to safeguard the Chiefdom's interests. This historic pact granted chieftaincy rights to three families, a covenant that would resonate through the decades.

Fast forward to 1932, Momoh Gogra claimed the chieftaincy, marking a significant chapter in the family's leadership. However, destiny took a somber turn with his untimely demise in 1934. The subsequent years witnessed infighting among ruling houses in 1953, prompting external intervention that ultimately led to the amalgamation of Galliness and Perri Chiefdoms.

Now, standing at the crossroads of history, Jaiah Tawor Gogra emerges as a beacon of hope and progress. With a background steeped in education and public service, Jaiah's journey from primary education in Falaba Perri to his current role as Deputy Chief Administrator at Pujehun District Council is a testament to his commitment.

Jaiah's tenure across various district councils has been marked by integrity and a commitment to development. His clean record, untainted by corruption, speaks volumes about his dedication to public service. Beyond bureaucratic roles, Jaiah's philanthropic endeavors have touched countless lives, demonstrating a genuine concern for the welfare of the people.

As a candidate for the Paramount chieftaincy position, Jaiah Tawor Gogra envisions a future for Perrie Chiefdom characterized by development, unity, and stability. His proactive approach includes advocating for youth, women, and girls empowerment, skill development projects, and a renewed focus on transparency and accountability.

In light of the Chieftaincy Act's stipulation on ruling houses, Jaiah's candidacy represents a bridge to the Chiefdom's past glory. His call to tribal authorities resonates as an appeal for a leader deeply connected to the soil, embodying the spirit of progress and compassion.

Perri Chiefdom stands at the brink of a transformative era, and Jaiah Tawor Gogra emerges as the catalyst for positive change. The call to vote for him is not just a political endorsement but a collective decision to embrace a leader with a proven track record, a vision for progress, and a heart dedicated to the welfare of the people. As the pages of history turn, let Jaiah Tawor Gogra's candidacy be etched as a turning point for Perri Chiefdomβ€”a resurgence of prosperity, unity, and a brighter future.

Pujehun District Council Primary School Fayama in Deplorable Condition, Seeks Assistance

The Pujehun District Council Primary School, situated in Fayama Rubba, Perrie Chiefdom, Pujehun district, has issued a heartfelt plea to the government, NGOs, and stakeholders for immediate intervention.

The school, established in 2010 by World Vision as part of a school project and was later taken over by the Pujehun District Council since then no major rehabilitation has been done which is currently facing dire conditions that pose a serious threat to the safety and education of its pupils.

Sengbeh Massaquoi, the school's head teacher, expressed grave concerns about the deteriorating state of the institution.

He said there are only four teachers, including himself, who teach at the school, and all of them are volunteering their services as they are not on salary.

Adding none of these dedicated teachers possess pin codes, a clear indication of their unpaid and unsupported status.

Despite the school's history of delivering quality education, it has been plagued by a lack of resources and support.

Usman Massaquoi, one of the teachers, highlighted the significant challenges they face due to the absence of teaching and learning materials.

This scarcity makes it exceedingly difficult for them to provide effective instruction to their pupils.

Ibharim Turay, the Head Boy of the school also shared the struggles faced by his fellow students. He said the absence of proper facilities and materials hampers their learning experience.

Turay earnestly called upon the government to prioritize the urgent needs of their school and its Pupils.

Chief Sengben Sonjoh, the Town Chief of Fayama, expressed admiration for the teachers' commitment to delivering quality education despite the harsh conditions.

He emphasized that the students consistently perform well in both class exams and public exams, a testament to the dedication of the teachers and the potential of the pupils.

Chief Sengben joined the school's management and staff in calling on the government, NGOs, and stakeholders to step in and address the critical situation.

It is a pressing issue that the Pujehun District Council Primary School faces, and the collective appeal from its staff, pupils, and community leaders underscores the urgency of the matter.

Immediate assistance is needed to ensure the safety and educational well-being of the children who rely on this institution for their futures.
