Day 5 of GTI-Moyamba's Spirit Week was celebrated as "Africana Dress Day," bringing the week-long activities to a colorful and culturally rich conclusion. Students and staff proudly appeared in beautiful Africana attire, showcasing the richness, diversity, and elegance of African culture and heritage.

The campus was filled with vibrant colors, unique designs, and traditional outfits that reflected the beauty of African identity. Participants embraced the occasion with enthusiasm, wearing various styles of Africana clothing that highlighted the continent's cultural values, traditions, and creativity.

Africana Dress Day served as an opportunity for the GTI-Moyamba community to celebrate and appreciate African culture while promoting pride in their heritage. The event also encouraged unity, cultural awareness, and respect for the diverse traditions that make Africa unique.

As Spirit Week came to an end, the celebration left lasting memories of fun, togetherness, and school pride. The active participation of both staff and students throughout the week demonstrated the strong sense of community that exists at GTI-Moyamba, making Spirit Week 2026 a remarkable and successful event.

Day 4 of GTI-Moyamba's Spirit Week was celebrated as "Rep Your Hall Day," a vibrant and exciting occasion that showcased the unity, pride, and competitive spirit of the institution's hall system.

Students proudly dressed in the colors representing their respective halls. Members of FoRUT Hall appeared in blue, Rokel Commercial Bank Hall was represented by gold, Moyamba District Council Hall by orange, and NASSIT Hall by yellow. The campus was transformed into a colorful display of hall pride as students enthusiastically supported and represented their assigned halls.

The event encouraged teamwork, belonging, and healthy competition among students while strengthening the bonds within each hall. Participants proudly wore their hall colors and interacted with fellow hall members, creating an atmosphere of excitement and camaraderie throughout the day.

Rep Your Hall Day highlighted the importance of unity in diversity, demonstrating how students from different backgrounds can come together to support a common identity. The colorful celebration added another memorable chapter to GTI-Moyamba's Spirit Week and further promoted school spirit, participation, and a sense of community among all students.

Day 3 of GTI-Moyamba's Spirit Week was celebrated as "Back to School Day," bringing back memories of students' former secondary schools. Students proudly dressed in the uniforms of their alma maters, creating a colorful and nostalgic atmosphere across the campus.

Uniforms from various schools were proudly represented, including Harford School for Girls, St. Joseph Vocational Secondary School, Bo School, St. Martin's Secondary School, St. Michael's Secondary School, Kate Margaret School for Girls, Methodist Girls High School, Searbagin International Secondary School, Kono Senior Secondary School, and St. Helena Secondary School, among others.

The activity provided students with an opportunity to reflect on their educational journeys and celebrate the institutions that helped shape their academic and personal development. It also encouraged interaction among students as they shared stories, experiences, and cherished memories from their former schools.

The display of different school uniforms highlighted the diversity and unity that exist within the GTI-Moyamba community. Despite coming from different backgrounds and schools, students demonstrated that they are now united by a common goal of learning, growth, and excellence at GTI-Moyamba.

Back to School Day was a memorable and inspiring part of Spirit Week, reminding everyone of the importance of education, school pride, and the lasting impact of their educational foundations.

Day 2 of GTI-Moyamba's Spirit Week was celebrated under the theme "Rep Your Team Day." The campus came alive with vibrant colors as students, teachers, administrative staff, and other members of the institution proudly dressed in the jerseys and colors of their favorite football clubs and sports teams.

The event created an atmosphere of excitement, unity, and friendly rivalry, with participants representing teams such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and many others. The diversity of team colors on display added beauty and energy to the school environment, making the day both memorable and enjoyable.

Beyond supporting favorite teams, the activity promoted school spirit, interaction, and camaraderie among students and staff. It provided an opportunity for everyone to express their passion for sports while strengthening relationships within the GTI-Moyamba community.

As Spirit Week continues, the institution looks forward to more engaging activities that foster togetherness, creativity, and a sense of belonging among all members of the school.
