Word Dunamis Int'l on June 16th, 2026 ended two days Training of Trainers Campaign Against School Dropout workshop on the theme, Every Child, the Right to Complete School. This workshop which comprises of 40 secondary schools pupils, 20 primary school pupils and 8 teachers was delivered on the following cross-cutting issues: Early/forceful marriage, Teenage pregnancy, Drug and Substance Abuse, FGM, and Climate Chang. Thanks to our partners TFSL, heads of schools, teachers and staff/volunteer of WDI and by the help of our Lord to make this training a massive success. THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!
I'm writing from the view point of Christianity. What we popularly see today in movies and every other place where the man kneels down to propose to a woman has no place in the Bible. It is "western culture". And today, it has become the "style" for almost everyone. But does that means it is the appropriate way to go? Well, as a Christian, anything God does not recommend automatically becomes wrong no matter how widely accepted it may be. God made the man, head and Lord and commanded the woman to submit to him in all things. It doesn't matter if United Nations do not agree with this, it still remains the order of the Universe. Moreover, Satan's mission is always to counterfeit God's originality. But we are not ignorant of his devices. I personally not against a man kneeling down to propose to a woman, what I'm against is someone believing that as the "appropriate or recommended" way of proposing. And if we must follow God's mind for the union of a man and woman, the woman should be the one kneeling to accept the proposal as a way of showing "submission" whiles the man remains standing as he proposed indicating the Lord and Master he will be over that woman and their household. See, you may not agree with your husband being a master over you, but that doesn't really change that reality. And if you re someone that believes this truth as stated in the manual of God, this revalation is for you. You might think whether he stands or kneel down or I the woman stands or kneel down doesn't really matter. No it does. Why do we bow, kneel and lift our hands in prayer? We do as an act of worship to God. Humans are spirit beings also, our actions has spiritual significance. And the results of those actions manifest subsequently. So don't think the act of kneeling down in proposing is just fantasy or illusion, it signifies something very huge. And let me say this to all men, never sell your birth right.....
