There is need for universities, especially public universities, to explore sustainable ways to fund our operations to help government support. This can be achieved through agriculture, investments and partnerships with private and public entities.”

Vice Chancellor of Ernest Bai Koroma University engages Counterpart at the National Open University in Abuja, Nigeria
The Vice Chancellor of the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology, Rev. Prof. Edwin J J Momoh has today 14th June 2024, engaged his counterpart, Professor Olufemi Peters of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). The rationale for the engagement was to seek partnership and collaboration between NOUN EBKUST on skills transfer on Open University Learning. In-principle comments were made between the two Professors to progress on this initiative in the short-term.
Rev. Prof. Edwin J.J. Momoh is concerned that every year, thousands of qualified WACEC candidates are churned out of schools for tertiary education. Unfortunately, the existing university infrastructures are not sufficient enough to accommodate all students. He said that an Open University system will help to accommodate every qualified student into the university system.

Travelodge
Nigeria is so vast. We tracked over 330 km from Abuja to Makurdi, capital city of Benue State in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Jesus experienced disrespect from his own people during his ministry. The synicism and doubts expressed by people during preaching, healing and teaching made him express that a Prophet is not respected in his home. This gets manifested in our engagements.
Rev. Prof EJJM is here in Markudi as Guest of the Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Lormem Alia. We were accorded a high-level state reception. True to form, such events and respect are rarely accorded to our own, thus fulfilling what Jesus said that a Prophet is not respected in his home.
In another event, the V.C of the Benue State University, Prof. Tor Joe Lorapuu accorded the honour on Prof. E.J. Momoh to present a plaque to Professor Joel Obo Eriba on the occasion of the 18th. Inaugural Lecture at the Benue State University.
