This time last year, we did not make it to the Demo Stage of the KNESST D3: Moonlanding Challenge.
This year, our team returned stronger, and we proudly reached the Finalist Demo Stage with our solution TreeventX, a smart event management platform built for Sierra Leone.
Although we did not win the competition, we are incredibly proud of the work done by our team members:
Mohamed Super Dumbuya - (Lead Dev)
Zainab M. Kamara - (UX & Testing)
Sonia Goba - (Research & Data analysis)
Ahmed I. Sankoh - (Backend Dev)
Standing on that stage, presenting a solution built from the ground up by young Sierra Leonean innovators, was already a milestone worth celebrating.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the KNESST Community, the trainers, mentors, and organizers for creating a powerful platform that empowers youth-led innovation in Sierra Leone.
This experience has strengthened our vision, sharpened our strategy, and inspired us to keep building solutions that matter.
TreeventX is only getting started, and so are we.
The journey continues. 🚀

🎉 Today, we celebrate the backbone of Tech Inspire SL! 🎉
Join us in wishing a Happy Birthday to our co-founder, CTO, software engineer, and lead developer of UniGuide, a true visionary, leader, and brother.
From day one, he has poured his heart, skills, and dedication into building the dream we all share. His quiet strength and tireless work behind the scenes have been key to everything we’ve accomplished.
Tech Inspire SL is stronger because of him, and UniGuide is becoming a reality through his brilliance and consistency.
Let’s show him some love today! 💡🎂🎈
Happy birthday, Chief! 🎉🙌

📍 Peace Village — We Pulled Up!
Another impactful stop in our journey to democratize tech education. This time, the Tech Inspire SL team visited Peace Village Academy Senior Secondary School, Mile 91, and the turnout? Incredible.
Over 100 students stood with attention, curiosity, and excitement as we introduced them to what’s possible with technology, not someday, but starting now.
💭 Many of these students are hearing about tech pathways for the first time.
💡 And that’s why we came, not just to inspire, but to create access.
We’re here to bridge the gap, by bringing tech exposure, career guidance, and access to real possibilities
From Port Loko to SLMB, Marian Memorial, and now Peace Village, our mission remains the same:
Tech should not be a luxury reserved for the few.
It should be a tool for every student in every community, and we’re making that vision real, one school at a time.
Thank you to the staff, the students, and the entire Peace Village community for showing up and showing love. The momentum is real. Let keep going. 🚀

🚀 Meet Issa Catco Fuad Koroma – Tech Changemaker Spotlight
As a Computer Science student at Central University, Issa isn’t just learning about tech, he’s living it. Through Tech Inspire SL’s school outreach program in Mile 91, he’s helping introduce students to the world of innovation, tech careers, and possibility.
Issa is proof that leadership isn’t about age, it’s about action.
💡 Proud to have him on our team as we continue to build the future of education in Sierra Leone.

📍 Marian Memorial SSS – Imatt, Mile 91
Not every stop comes with a full classroom, but impact isn’t measured by crowd size, it’s measured by connection.
At Marian Memorial, the turnout was small, but the purpose was loud.
Big shoutout to Wisdom Femi Kayode who stepped up and took the lead for the day. He reminded us that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about showing up and making things happen. 🙌🏾
“Even if it’s just one student listening, I’ll still speak, because that one student might be the change we need.” – Wisdom F. Kayode
That’s the energy we’re moving with. Every voice matters. Every student counts.
Tech Inspire SL is still on the move.

🚀 From Port Loko to Mile 91 — Tech Inspire SL is on the Move!
You already know, we’ve been doing the work in Port Loko, laying the foundation, sparking the vision, and connecting with future tech leaders.
Now, we’ve taken that same energy to Mile 91, where our team just visited SLMB Secondary School.
Our mission is clear:
Empower young people across Sierra Leone with the skills, mindset, and exposure to thrive in the tech world.
💡 From school to school, town to town, we’re not just talking about change, we’re bringing it.
Massive shoutout to the students and staff at SLMB for the warm welcome and engagement. The future is bright, and we’re just getting started!

At Tech Inspire SL, we believe in real-world exposure as one of the most powerful ways to inspire innovation and growth in young minds.
Our co-founder Mohamed S Dumbuya had the chance to attend the 2025 Government Tech Summit and take part in the Christex Foundation VibeShift Hackathon, exploring next-gen technologies like VR, holograms, and a robot dog.
We’re grateful to the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation for organizing such an impactful experience.
This is why we do what we do, building a future where young minds don’t just watch innovation happen… they lead it.

🎓 What if every university student documented their journey?
Not just the highlights.
But the real moments late nights, campus struggles, small wins, growth.
Through short videos.
Through simple photos.
Even just words.
That content could become guidance for the next generation.
Students in secondary school are watching.
They’re asking:
“What course should I choose?”
“What’s university life really like?”
“Can I actually make it?”
And sometimes, the answer they need…
isn’t in a textbook. It’s in your story.
Start documenting your journey.
Not for likes.
For legacy.
