📢 NEYG-SL CONCLUDES TRAINING AGAINST DIGITAL VIOLENCE

Network Empowerment for Young Generation Sierra Leone (NEYG-SL) successfully conducted a Training Against Digital Violence today, 20 August 2026, at the American Corner, Kenema Mission Road, City Library.

The training brought together selected young participants who were chosen through a competitive application process from more than 40 applicants.

The activity provided an opportunity for young people to learn, share experiences, and discuss practical ways to prevent and respond to digital violence while promoting safer, more responsible, and inclusive online spaces.

NEYG-SL sincerely appreciates all participants for their active participation, valuable contributions, and commitment throughout the training.

We also extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the activity a success.

Together, let us continue to stand against digital violence and promote safer digital spaces for all. 🌍📱

Youth dialogue on climate and environmental issues

🌍 YOUTH REGIONAL CONSULTATION | EASTERN REGION, SIERRA LEONE 🌱

I was pleased to participate in the Local Conference of Youth Regional Consultation for the Eastern Region, held at Eastern Technical University (ETU), Sierra Leone, under the theme:

“Youth to Impact Global Climate and Environmental Discussions Through Local Contribution.”

The consultation brought together young people from across the Eastern Region, including Kenema, Kailahun, and Kono, to share ideas, experiences, challenges, and practical solutions on climate change and environmental issues affecting our communities.

It was encouraging to see the active participation of youth-led and civil society organizations, including NEYG-SL, NETCE-SL, ADACNET-SL, and other partners committed to advancing youth participation in climate and environmental action.

As young people, our voices matter. Our local experiences and community-based solutions should contribute to national, regional, and global climate discussions.
