Fellow Kaintonians, and most importantly, esteemed members of our enviable, unified, law abiding (though this may have been undermined by the claimed coupists) and students’ focused union,

I bring hearty greetings in fraternal love and unity. This is not my final note as outgoing President, and I can admit to former president, if you may want to, but this is my congratulatory note to the president-elect, Mr. Vandi Kosia, and as well a thank you note to the KaiDSU Electoral Commission, most importantly the CEC, and by extension the delegates and every member who has supported, criticized genuinely, the electoral process that has legitimately ushered in a new president.

In a few days, soon, my final note to all of you will be specially written in hope of a continued stride to build on the gains we have made as a Union by the new government.

For now, let me graciously congratulate His Excellency the President-Elect, Vandi Kosia. Congratulations, His Excellency, as you fully and officially take power in the coming days, soon. My future note, which shall come as final note, shall find space for kind advice as you lead successfully to a majestic shore of greatness for our Union.

To the Commission and particularly the CEC, sir, thank you so much for the sacrificial but yet dutiful ex*****on of your functions in the midst of contention, controversies and other challenges, even resource wise.

Amidst arrows of compromise and lack of integrity and fairness slung at you, you remained resilient, focused and result-oriented to ensure the right things happen.

Thank you so much!

To you, Mr. Augustine Vandi, thank you. Ambition may have strained but you are a good man. Support your brother so we all can lift KaiDSU to the next greater height. The need for our unity is even needed than it has ever been, and my future note will touch on the same. We are more United by shared values and common purpose than there is to divide us. The days of politics are over, until the next, let’s come together and work.

Kailahun District Students' Union National is a non-profit student-led organisation that caters to and advocates for the welfare of students who are indigenes of Kailahun District.
