The power of youth in co-creating education is real.
“When we watch the videos, we understand the lesson better,” said one student. Another added, “Learning is more fun now. It is not only writing on the board.” Teachers notice learners asking more questions and showing greater interest.
From classrooms under trees to modern classrooms, youth-led innovation with the Offline Digital Learning Hub in a Bag is making learning inclusive, engaging, and impactful.
When youth lead, education works and the future scales faster.

Resilient. Compassionate. Innovative. Determined.
Today we celebrate the qualities that make women powerful forces of change. In the spirit of this year’s theme — Give to Gain — we are reminded that when women and girls are supported, given opportunities, and empowered to grow, communities and futures become stronger.
At EasySTEM, we are committed to creating pathways for girls and women to explore and thrive in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Happy International Women’s Day. 🌸

As today marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we are proud to spotlight three outstanding students whose journeys reflect the power of opportunity, innovation, and early exposure.
Rexina began with us during the Sensebod pilot, playing a key role in the platform’s development. That experience ignited her passion for technology, and she’s now pursuing Software Engineering at Limkokwing University and currently volunteers with the EasySTEM team on improvement of sensebod.
Rugiatu, currently studying Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, discovered her love for STEM through electronics in SSS2.
Today, she’s mentoring secondary school girls and organising her very own STEM-based training programs through DevHer, creating early exposure for young girls to practical STEM learning.
Joy, who was the most active and often top-rated “sensebod” during our initial stage pilot while attending Science World Secondary School last year, is now pursuing a BSc in Nursing at the College of Medicine, University of Sierra Leone, bridging health and technology innovation.
Together, their stories remind us: when girls are included in AI, innovation, and STEM, they don’t just participate, they lead, build, and transform the future.
We are looking forward to the many more great things they will achieve.
