As part of efforts to clarify the IPAM Student Union’s dress code decision, we interviewed the Security Commander to explain the implementation and enforcement of the policy on campus.

The Security Commander emphasized that the dress code is intended to promote order, safety, and respect within the academic environment.

He assured students that enforcement will be carried out professionally and respectfully, without harassment, and encouraged cooperation from students to ensure a peaceful and disciplined campus for all.

IPAM Student Union Dress Code Decision

The IPAM Student Union recently took a decision on students’ dress code aimed at promoting decency, discipline, and a conducive academic environment on campus. In an interview with the Attorney General of the IPAM Student Union, the focus is to better understand the legal foundation, purpose, and implementation of this decision.

The discussion seeks to clarify why the dress code was introduced, how it aligns with IPAM’s rules and values, and how students’ rights are being considered. It also provides an opportunity for the Attorney General to address concerns, explain enforcement measures, and reassure students that the policy is meant to guide, not punish.

This interview is intended to create awareness, encourage dialogue, and promote mutual understanding between the Student Union and the student body regarding the dress code decision.

IPAM STUDENTS SPEAK OUT

Education should uplift students, not push them out of the system.

The recent increment in tuition and academic fees at IPAM has placed an unexpected and heavy burden on students and parents who are already struggling with the rising cost of living. Many of us come from hardworking families doing their best to support our education.

This protest is not about disrespect or chaos. It is about fairness, transparency, and dialogue. Students deserve to be consulted before decisions that directly affect our future are taken.

We are calling on the IPAM administration to listen to the voices of students, reconsider the fees increment, and engage us in constructive discussions that put students first.

Education is a right, not a privilege.
Students deserve to be heard.
Peaceful protest is our voice.
