Meet our Man Crush Monday(MCM), Mr. Mahammud Maqaman Sheriff.

Mr. Sheriff is a dedicated legal scholar with advanced training in law, diplomacy, and conflict resolution. He holds an MSc in Diplomacy & International Relations (FBC-USL) and a BSc in Peace & Conflict Studies—where he graduated as Best Student of the department in 2021.

Sheriff is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Human Rights Constitutionalism & Criminal Justice, and an LL.B. (Hons) to be conferred in December 2025.

He serves as a consultant, peer reviewer, and publisher for Africa Research Journal. He’s also a member of the Chartered Panel of International Arbitration.

Maqaman is widely recognised for his advocacy in gender justice, human rights, and inclusive governance across Africa.

We are delighted to inform you that, for the first time ever, our beloved KOSA-FBC has been officially registered with the Kenema City Council.

This registration marks a significant milestone in our journey to becoming a more structured and recognised alumni body both within Fourah Bay College and the broader KOSA family. It grants us the legal capacity to open and operate a bank account in the name of KOSA-FBC, among other institutional benefits.

More importantly, this development opens doors for increased credibility, collaboration, and access to opportunities that will positively impact all members. It reinforces our commitment to accountability, transparency, and growth.

The Executive of the Kenema Old Students’ Association, Fourah Bay College Chapter (KOSA-FBC), is pleased to announce an exciting new development under the leadership of our newly elected President, Mr. Swaray Joseph Senesie. Swaray J Senesie

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the identity and unity of our chapter, we are introducing Official KOSA-FBC Membership ID Cards, now available at an affordable cost.

Each ID card is embedded with a “QR code” that securely stores the bearer’s relevant information. These cards are valid for two years and serve as an official identifier of your status as a bona fide member of KOSA-FBC.

Why You Need the Membership ID Card:

- It officially identifies you as a bona fide member of KOSA-FBC.
- It grants you easier access and recognition at all KOSA-FBC and KOSA in general events and activities.
- It enhances security, organization, and smooth verification of members.
