*SCHOOL IS A MUST COMMUNITY FELT NEED FOR LAYAH AND IT SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES; PLEASE HELP US RAISE NLe16,675 ($794. 05) TO RESTORE THE BOMSATHALAI COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL-LAYAH*
Layah community is an isolated community that is surrounded by big streams which normally prevented children below the age of 10 years to access school and acquire education. Even children above 10 years has to take the high risk of crossing two long risky traditional cane sticks bridge to access primary school and work a distance of 4 miles everyday to access secondary school. This struggle has been in existence since the establishment of the community till 2008 when TCADO-SL introduce the Bomsathalai Community Primary school in layah community.
We start the school with a Cane sticks Building and the school was doing well every year till when we lost the cane sticks Building roof in 2022 which led to the lost of our community Teachers and the closing of the school in 2023 which left about 215 children school dropout.
With the good intention of providing equality education for the children of farmers in Layah Community and Masungbala Chiefdom at large, TCADO-SL launched, the construction of a stand Community school with administrative building, six classroom building, board home building and staff quarters building in Laya Community but the school construction is currently pending as a result of Donor fatic and we are still on the move to look for funding to complete the school as plan.
Main while, TCADO-SL is working on raising Sixteen Thousand, Six Hundred and Ninty-Four Leone (NLe16,675) ($710.97) to kick-start the Bomsathalai Community Primary school this academic year to provide access to education to 215 children and more therefore, we are asking for your kind donation or help us to share this message to your network to rasing fund for the restoration of this school in layah community. Please noted that nothing Small; you can support us with one bag cement, One Tarpaulin etc. Below is the budget, photos and videos evidence of the situation. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your kind donation.

Bomsathalai Grammar School Cane Stick School Building Annual Re-Abilitation 2020
----------------------------------------------------------
The Bomsathalai Grammar School is a community primary School located in Sierra Leone, Kambia District, Masungbala Chiefdom, Layah village . The school was established as a result of the distant, difficulties and risk children faced in accessing schools. Children has to work about 3 to 4 miles away and there is a big stream that normally prevent children from attending during raining seasons. As a result of the above, the community took the venture to established a cane stick school since 2008 which they have to rebuild every year with hard struggles.
However, In 2016, A Sierra Leonean foreign Base in Germany has took the venture to construction a modern primary school to serve the entire Chiefdom with quality education and the construction is in progress; Please be part of this achievement by donating one bag cement or one Zinc or even more to this Community school construction project and save this Community from this annual slavery of constructing the cane stick building.
