INDEPENDENCE MESSSGE TO STUDENTS, PARENTS AND STAFF

Happy independence to all students, parents and staff of MHCS.

Today marks the 60th anniversary celebration of our independence, counting from 1961. Marie Holmes is only about 14 years old now in providing education for the poor and underprivileged. For 13 years now we are making Education accessible to the less privileged so they too can be part of the development we are striving for in our nation.

As we celebrate this great day, let's us remember that there are still years ahead of us; there are still challenges we need to face and conquer; there are still people out there who need our service.

At present we are facing huge challenges regarding structures, salaries to our dedicated teachers and providing we want we have planned for the students we have vowed to assist educate well and serve our nation and the world.

I am calling on every one of us to continue to endure and be resilient. There is goodness at the end of the tunnel.

I am happy to announce that we already got some promising assistance from an organization in the United States of America. Discussions are on as to what they want to do the development of this school. We will make k ow as we progress in the discussion. What I can say now we have been contacted and informed to make a budget for everything we need for the school we want to see, the dream School. We are on it, and soon we will begin to pay photos of our research on this page so you too can follow up.

Meanwhile, I ask that we continue to strive and endure the current challenges. They will come to pass and we will all celebrate on fine day just as we are celebrating this 60th anniversary.

Let us celebrate for our land and let us help others to grow. This is the best we can do for the growth of humanity. Let us be honest in whatever we do so we can all enjoy the fruits we so desire.

MARIE HOLMES GETS BEST RESULTS IN THE BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION EVER.

The school's transfer to Calaba Town seems to have born fruitful fruits by producing the best results ever.

Among 29 candidate who took the 2020 BECE exams, 23 got 5 credits pass and two aggregate 14. The least pass was aggregate 22 and nobody fails.

Congratulations to all students , teachers and adminstration for the good work. Keep it up

To face the challenges of developing the school, especially paying teachers, the school authority has launched a fund raising program hopefully ending in December 2020.

We hope to get maximum cooperation from everyone.
