That’s why providing healthy, nutritious meals has always been at the heart of our program. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on our amazing catering partners Mrs Renee Taylor-Pearce and team who’s catering had us covered from Monday’s- Wednesday’s and who wowed us on Thursdays with swit chicken and variety meals.

The true reward of the STEM Holiday Club 2025 wasn’t just in completing tasks or receiving certificates—it was in the friendships formed, the confidence gained, and the new skills and knowledge our students now carry with them. 💡🚀

✨ STEM Holiday Club 2025 has officially wrapped! ✨
Over the past 4 weeks, 250 bright learners from 46 schools came together at SLGS for our 3rd annual Tech Bootcamp under the theme “Advancing Innovation.” 🚀
From AI in Digital Media to Coding & Robotics, Maths, Chess, and Entrepreneurship, our learners gained future-ready skills, explored creativity, and showcased innovation. With the support of 52 dedicated staff, guest experts, and mentors, we’ve nurtured a new generation of changemakers for Sierra Leone and beyond. 🌍💡
This year, highlights included:
🌟 Plan International Country Director, Madam Muniratu Issifu, who toured the camp in detail and delivered an inspiring keynote urging learners to harness technology responsibly.
🌟 Donald Davies-Cole, who motivated learners to embrace youth creativity and leverage social media as a positive force for good.
🌟 A powerful message from Rev. Canon Leonard Ken Davies, Principal of SLGS: “The continued success of the STEM Holiday Club proves that Sierra Leonean students are hungry for innovation. We’re proud to nurture that potential.”
We also proudly launched 11 internship opportunities for university students—bridging academia with real-world STEM experience.

🌍 Week 4 of the STEM Holiday Club 2025 is officially underway!
As we prepare for Presentation Week, our learners are not only sharpening their skills in Coding, Maths, Robotics, Chess, and Multimedia, but also gaining invaluable insights from industry leaders and innovators.
On Day 1, we were inspired by Joseph Koroma (aka Nash*to Kulala), who spoke on sustainable career paths and the vital role of the creative sector in commerce and legacy building.
On Day 2, Jasper Sembie, Director of DSTI, highlighted the importance of technology in shaping nations and encouraged our learners to embrace personal responsibility on the path to success.
This week promises even more impactful conversations and guidance from distinguished speakers. Together, we’re nurturing the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders. ✨

🚀 STEM Holiday Club 2025 – Week 3- Coding & Robotics Fun! 🤖💻
Yesterday’s session was a blast!
Week 3 is offically in action.
Our brilliant students dived into the exciting world of Coding and Robotics ,and the energy in the room was electric! ⚡
From discovering how machines and electronics work together, to learning that coding is simply a set of instructions robots can read and execute, every moment sparked curiosity and creativity.
It was amazing to see how quickly they connected the dots between theory and real life applications, and their enthusiasm for the rest of the week is now off the charts! 📈✨
Here’s to building future innovators, one code and one robot at a time. 🚀
