Linda Lou's African Kingdom Adventures of a Lifetime

My friends and family,

I am back in the States and glad to be home! With two separate trips to Sierra Leon, Africa I have completed my assignment over there.

I was sensing my time there was completed anyway, but when I fell and broke my wrist I thought now is a good time to close the chapter on my assignment in Africa. Broken wrist or no broken wrist, the Lord had released me to come home.

Because of your financial support I was able to place much needed resources in the pastor’s hands needed for their congregations, as well as train and equip teachers for children’s church with the necessary resources to teach those precious kids how to live as King’s Kids, as citizens of the Kingdom of God, no matter what country they may live in! THANK YOU!!!

My time in Africa was life changing for me! I learned so much about their culture and fell in love with the people, especially the children! While I was there many children accepted Jesus as Lord and was water baptized!

I believe, with the help of Holy Spirit, I was able to empower and equip both the pastors and the children with the teaching of the Government of the Kingdom of Heaven, to rise above whatever obstacles being born in poor surroundings may bring. I believe they will carry on with what was deposited in their hearts.

I don’t sense I’ll be going back to Africa in the future, but I’m always available for the King’s use if I’m needed!

Now to get back to my life here. An important thing that will help that on its way is reliable transportation, for at the moment I’m without a vehicle. You’re agreement in prayer for that provision would be greatly appreciated!

Again, thank you all for going on this amazing journey with me and making it possible. Your investment there will reap eternal dividends! I love you all!

Lucy Lou enjoys being back home.

So, this is my last Sunday with the children. There was not a lot here today. But there was a young child that sat behind me and listen to the lesson he would not come around so when it was snack time I gave him some and he left. We talk about kindness and how we feel when some says nice things about us. And we being Christians should always show kindness to others and to respect adults. So each child pick a person at church and wrote a encouraging note to them. Lucy Lou went to Church today and we found puppies abandoned and George going take the one in the picture home. He named her Lucy Luv. Was a great time.

This was at our combine service. All the children sang a song. And the older one's recited what they have been learning in discipleship class. Which included the books of the New Testament and the scripture Matthew 4:17 they all did a excellent job.

Sunday was the last Sunday with this group of children. We learned about Honor, Respect and Kind words. And they worked on Father's Day Cards. I love working with this group they are so hungry to learn about the Kingdom. They will be baptism on July 1st. And on July 2nd is our combine service and all the children be together and we have lesson on the Governor ( Holy Spirit). Before the service starts.

This is Micka he lives in the compound. I ask dad if he can go to church said know he is Muslim but they do not pray or go to the Mosque. He is a joy to be around and he knows my name because he will stand outside the door and yell my name. I going bring him some clothes back when I am home an I see what toys I can get for him.

I will be leaving in the morning to the village which will take almost all day to get there we will return late Sunday. Going to present the Kingdom to the children and to plant a church. Very excited to go.

Here is a video of the children of New Life of Christ Ministry singing to me. They did a short play about human trafficking for the Church and sang a song but I was not able to record it from where I was sitting was really good. If by chance I get a copy of it I will post it. So the Lord woke me up and spoke to me my heart has been heavy this past week. I have been here a month and with the money I brought and the two person that has sent me someI have made it for the month. But here is the beginning of this month and I have two month left before coming home. When I got here I sat down with Pastor Abdul and went over a budget. Here is the budget: 1000 dollar for food, internet,electric and transportation and then the things I need personally. Went to New Life in Christ ministry Pastor Dominic Dumbuys.
Was a good service. Pastor Abdul preached on Kingdom and I taught on the Kingdom one the boys mentioned that we both were teaching on Kingdom.

Understand the Church is one nice big large place so when service starts the children are at the back and adults up front but it works. Had a great time children love taking pictures together and they responded very well to the Kingdom lesson. And I fell in love with that little girl I was holding.
