The Executive and the entire membership of the National Union of Koinadugu & Falaba Students (NUKaFS) are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of our dear sister, Saran Kabba, following a tragic road traffic accident at SS Curve, Kabala, on Friday the 9th January, 2026, while en route to Freetown..

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, the Koromasilaia Secondary School community, KaFSU–COMAHS Chapter, and all those affected by this painful loss. Saran was an exceptionally brilliant student whose academic excellence and admission to pursue Medical Laboratory Science at COMAHS-USL reflected her dedication, resilience, and bright future in the medical profession.

Her passing is a great loss to the twin districts, the student community, and the healthcare sector she was preparing to serve. Though her life was short, her impact and inspiration will endure.

May the Almighty grant her eternal rest and give strength, comfort, and peace to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

FREE HEALTH SCREENING IN KABALA

The Koinadugu and Falaba Students’ Union (KaFSU)~COMAHS in partnership with the National Union of Koinadugu and Falaba students is organizing a *Free Health Screening* aimed at promoting the health and wellbeing of our community.

📍 Location: Kabala, Koinadugu District
📅 Date: Second Week of October
🎯 Target: 1,000 people

*We will be offering free screening for:*
Hepatitis B Virus, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure

This initiative is designed to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and support healthier lifestyles among our people.

Congratulations Elders !!!

On February 18, 2025. The Koinadugu and Falaba Students Union COMAHS Chapter held it's Orientation and Familiarization seminar at Kossoh Campus. The event, held annually, brings together members (past and present) and mentors from the twin districts.

During the seminar, we officially welcomed our new members to the union, interacted with old friends, made new ones and revived the spirit of unionism. We also evaluated our challages and successes as a union and acquired knowledge from our mentors.
The seminar attracted over 60 members (continuing and new), Alumni members ( in the likes of Pharm CJ, Dr. Iye Pateh Jalloh and Dr. Abubakar Jalloh) and mentors from the twin districts (Mr. Bando Marah-keynote speaker and professor Alhaji U Njai - special guest speaker), president KaFSU IPAM and H.E Fuad Tiejan Kamara - NUKaFS President.

The seminar was filled with inspirational speeches from our various speakers and joyful interactions. Certificates of appreciation were issued to our new graduands, we had educative question and answer sessions about Koinadugu and Falaba districts, had a delicious meal for lunch and took some memorable pictures.

The seminar was successful and met it's overall objectives. A special thank you to our honorable guests, participants, our Alumni members who largely funded the seminar, members who contributed to fund the event and to our executive team for their hard work in pulling off such a wonderful event.

At the college of medicine and Allied Health Sciences swering in ceremony on Friday February 7, 2025, seven great minds took the Hippocratic oath and was officially admitted to their respective medical professions.

Two doctors were admitted to the medical doctor profession.
1. Imam Dr Abubakar Jalloh
2. Dr. Mrs. Iye Pateh Bah.
Three Medical laboratory scientists were admitted to the medical laboratory profession.
1. Dx. Abdul Rahman Bah
2. Dx. Mustapha Sesay
3. Dx. Kadiatu Y Kamara
And Two pharmacy technicians were admitted to the pharmacy profession.

2. Rx. Neneh Isha
