Alhamdulillah!
Today, the IPAM Muslim Jama’ah held a fruitful and inspiring engagement with the newly appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the Institute of Public Administration and Management-IPAM, Professor Ezekiel Duramany Lakkoh.

The discussion focused on strategic areas of collaboration, the Jama’ah’s role in fostering Islamic values, and enhancing student welfare on campus. We also took the opportunity to offer heartfelt prayers for his success and guidance as he embarks on this noble leadership journey.

Professor Lakkoh expressed sincere appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his strong support for the Jama’ah’s mission and future initiatives.

Alhamdulillah, we had a hectic day yesterday trying our best to concrete the top of our Misjid on campus. It was full of energy, fun but with firm purpose and commitment. The strive to complete the task was accomplished despite the stress and challenges we faced during the whole cause.
Thanks to Allah for everything and to everyone involved in diverse ways in making sure that we achieve this goal. To the staff and management of IPAM, appreciate you all for your leadership and support towards this project. It would not have this possible without your support and dedication.
Thank you to the students fr their tolerance and understanding with our everyday demands. Thank you so much to team IPAM Muslim Jama’ah-IMJ (both current and Alumni member) for the sacrifices and dedication to the success of this project.
May Allah rewards each and everyone of you for your time and energy dedicated towards the success of the Jama’ah.

REWARDS FOR PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL CONTRIBUTION IN BUILDING A MASJID

The IMAM BOARD call on all members of the Jammat, please let's give all our best to support the construction of the Masjid, our participation & attention is highly needed especially now the Demolition is going to start tomorrow Sunday 20th July 2025. Please let's all team up together to achieve this project in Sha Allah may Allah accept all our endeavors🙏🏻 .

As Several authentic Hadith highlight the virtues and rewards for building Masjids. One common narration states, "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise".

This emphasizes the great reward for those who contribute to the construction of a mosque, whether through financial means or physical labor.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) himself participated in the construction of the first mosque in Islam, Masjid Quba, setting an example for the community. This act of building a mosque is considered a form of Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous charity that benefits the individual even after death, as long as the mosque is used for worship and good deeds.

REWARD: Building a mosque, even a small contribution, earns a house in Paradise.

SADAQATU JARIYAH: It is considered a continuous charity, providing ongoing reward.

COMMUNITY CENTER: Mosques serve as hubs for spiritual, educational, and social activities.

PROPHET'S EXAMPLE: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon Him) actively participated in the construction of Masjid Quba.

NOT LIMITED IN WEALTH: Even small contributions of time, effort, or resources are rewarded.

Alhamdulillah, it is 13 years ago today with Alhaji Yazid Rashid @⁨~Yazid Fadlu-Deen Raschid⁩ the time. I (Alhaji Mohamed Wusha-Conteh) was doing the handing over as President of IPAM Muslim Jama’ah-University of Sierra Leone after serving my term of office workig for the sake ofIpammuslimjamaatah and propagating the word of Allah.

A Message to Every Hardworking Mother & Father This Ramadan.
A man passed by the Prophet as, and the companions noticed his strength and energy (he was doing hard, physical work). They said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only he were in the path of Allah!" (i.e., if only he put this effort into fighting for the cause of Allah).
The Prophet a replied:
" - If he went out striving to provide for his young children, he is in the path of Allah.
- If he went out striving to support his elderly parents, he is in the path of Allah.
- If he went out striving to sustain himself and remain chaste, he is in the path of Allah.
- But if he went out for showing off and boasting, then he is in the path of Shaytan." (Sahih al-Targhib: 1692, authenticed by Al-Albani).
Dear mother, as you wake up before Fajr to prepare suhoor, as you cook iftar while fasting, as you juggle family responsibilities, work, and worship, know that your effort is in the path of Allah. Your sacrifice, patience, and love are all forms of worship, and Allah sees every moment of your struggle.
This Ramadan, don't underestimate your efforts.
Every meal you prepare, every dua you make for your children, every hardship you endure, is rewarded by Allah. Your work is not just Dunya related, it is a path to Jannah.
