The first day back at school is always the hardest. It was great for me to get back teaching Slovakia's energetic but very clever children ....... I hope you all survived ;-)

Teaching our children to read early creates good habits and gives them a head start to their English. If there is one New Year's Resolution you should start its this....I recommend the Dr Seuss collection they are fantastic books, from something simple like 'Hop on Pop' to something more challenging like 'Horton Hears a Who! You will improve your child's English through repetition and more importantly can enjoy that special moment with them.

In 2017 may you have the courage of children to make mistakes and speak out with your English. The results will be there to see. Happy New Year :-)
