For both 2026 and 2027, one thing has remained constant at BSides Bratislava: our mascot.

For 2027, our mascot has become a Guardian.

So we decided to turn that into a challenge for the community.

Your mission is simple:

Find the name of our mascot.

Somewhere on the BSides Bratislava website, we have hidden a CTF-style trail of clues that eventually leads to the flag.

The first person to submit the correct flag wins a MeshCore node.

Shipping

The prize will be shipped to the winner after the challenge is verified.

Because the MeshCore node may contain or require a battery, international shipping can be subject to carrier and aviation restrictions, and delivery may not be possible to every country.

If battery shipping restrictions prevent normal delivery, we will work with the winner to find the most practical alternative where possible.

Any import duties, customs fees, VAT, local taxes, handling charges, or other destination-country costs are the responsibility of the winner.

Shipping eligibility will therefore depend on the winner’s location and the applicable carrier and customs rules at the time of shipment.
