Last month, we didn't just talk about democratic resilience. We worked on it. 💙
Our closed-door roundtable in partnership with and in Prague brought together voices from across Europe for expert sessions, honest conversations, and hands-on working groups focused on disinformation and polarisation beyond elections.
The photos tell part of the story. The output we're preparing will tell the rest. Watch this space. More soon. 👀

🌍 Climate action needs democracy.
World Environment Day reminds us that the climate crisis is also a civic challenge.
Real solutions need open dialogue, accountable institutions and young people at the decision-making table.
As climate action affects our everyday lives, people must have a voice in shaping the decisions that shape their future.
If we want a future that is green, fair and stable, people must have the opportunity to take part in shaping it.

GDC Europe Forum 2026: The best part of any event? The people in the room. 💙
Two weeks ago in Prague, we had the privilege of convening some of the sharpest minds working on democracy, disinformation, and electoral integrity across Europe, including our very own EDYN members who took the stage.
Here are a few of our favourite moments. 📸

🗣️ Building dialogue in a polarized world.
As part of our EDYN Bridge initiative in partnership with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA and the Swiss Embassy in Slovakia, we recently hosted the first of two depolarization workshops in Bratislava, bringing together young Slovaks who are active in civic, community, and public life.
Focused on conflict management and constructive communication, the workshop was led by an experienced trainer from Partners for Democratic Change Slovakia (PDCS). Through practical exercises and interactive discussions, participants explored the causes and impacts of polarization, learned strategies for navigating difficult conversations, and developed skills for fostering respectful dialogue across differing viewpoints. 🤝
The highly interactive format encouraged participants to share experiences, challenge assumptions, and practice communication approaches that can help bridge divides rather than deepen them. 🌉
A big thank you to everyone who joined us, we look forward to continuing the conversation at our second EDYN Bridge workshop!

🤝 Yesterday, at our closed-door roundtable in partnership with and we brought young democracy leaders from EDYN’s network and high-level guests face to face with one of the biggest threats to democratic resilience: disinformation and polarisation.
🗣️ From Central & Eastern Europe to the Western Balkans and South Caucasus, EDYN members worked with academics, disinformation experts, and election integrity researchers to map the channels and actors who drive disinformation; analyse how disinformation disproportionally targets women and pushes them towards self-censorship and away from leadership positions; and codevelop Democratic Stress Maps together.
Democratic resilience doesn't happen on its own. It's built by people like us, in rooms like this. 🌍

Yesterday in Prague: big conversations about democracy, AI, and the future of elections in Europe.
EDYN organized the Europe Forum 2026 with the Global Democracy Coalition, and the room was full of people who genuinely care about getting this right: experts, activists, and young leaders tackling deepfakes, disinformation, and electoral integrity head-on.
The highlight? The speakers, who brought insight, passion, and urgency to the table, including EDYN members who took the stage during tje panel “Democracy in Action: Youth Defending Electoral Integrity Across Europe”, sharing real stories, real experiences, and real stakes from across EDYN’s region.
Thank you to every brilliant speaker, partner, and participant who showed up and spoke up
