✨ Growing with technology, leading with trust: Gašper's story
Gašper Čož joined Strip's while studying Electrical Engineering, looking for an environment where he could put his knowledge into practice and continue learning through real world projects.
What surprised him most was discovering a technologically advanced company in the countryside of Kandrše, Slovenia. It was an environment that quickly drew him even deeper into the world of electronics.
Since then, his career has evolved from Electronics Development Engineer to Product Manager, Development Team Leader, and today, Head of Research and Development.
What keeps him motivated is the diversity of projects, complex development challenges, and collaboration with European partners. Working on different projects has taught him that practical experience, curiosity, and understanding customers' needs are just as important as technical knowledge.
As Head of Research and Development at Strip's, Gašper believes that great development goes beyond simply following specifications. It means leaving room to explore, challenge assumptions, test ideas, and find ways to make the final product even better.
For him, good leadership is built on trust and respect for people, their knowledge, and their ideas.
Outside of work, family is his biggest source of inspiration. He enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.
