This is the official page of DANS Architects As an office we constantly learn, adapt and grow. We root in experience and strive towards the future.

In our office, DANS arhitekti we create spaces and culture in which we live, work, feel and socialize with each other. We are consciously exploring the relationship between people and built environment, we think about innovative ways of using the space and at the same time drawing from archaic building principles, exploiting the opportunities opened by sustainable construction, and the possibility

of creating pleasant livable spaces. No matter if we are designing urban public spaces or facilities with focus on engineering and technology, large spaces with heavy flow of people or intimate ambiances we try to create different moods through use of nuances and careful details. We firmly believe in use of timber as building material, as it’s a sustainable building material that gives warmth and smells pleasantly. Durability and sustainability are present in every step of our work from the idea to designing, planning and execution of projects. Undertaking a construction of a building is no easy task for the clients so we try to be there for them at every moment, offering help in overcoming the sometime difficult official procedures. As architects we are intensively involved in the project development through entire process from the first concepts to completion of the building. DANS arhitekti was set up in 2004 by Rok Bogataj, Miha Dešman, Eva Fišer Berlot, Vlatka Ljubanović and Katarina Pirkmajer Dešman. We are dedicated to projects where special attention is required to fulfill the needs of users and their well-being: private residences and apartments, schools and
kindergartens, hospitals and old people's homes and buildings for people with disabilities. Rok has excellent space perception allowing him to understand and create complex sections, Eva understands structures and knows the latest technological solutions, Vlatka sense brings vibrancy to the projects and long
term visions with her artistic sensibility, Katarina holds everyone and everything together, Miha does the thinking and planning for the future, deriving from his intimate experience with architectural history. Our works have received numerous awards, including recent recognitions, such as the Joint winner of the European Prize

LJUBEZEN, slovenski film, v spomin pred dnevi preminulemu avtorju Rajku Ranflu. Ob 22.25 na TV SLO 2 (op.: termin v grafiki napovednika je veljal za premierno predvajanje!) Leta 1940, tik pred izbruhom vojne, mladi Marjan živi brezskrbno življenje s svojo tolpo v ljubljanski četrti Zelena Jama in doživlja vse težave njegovih let. Z vrstnico Lenko doživlja svojo prvo "čisto" ljubezen, istočasno pa odkriva spolnost... Italijanska okupacija prinese veliko sprememb, tolpa razpade, nekateri se pridružijo osvobodilnemu boju, drugi sodelujejo s kolaboracionisti. Marjan ostane "neuvrščen". Italijani se predajo in v mesto vkorakajo Nemci. Milena, lahkoživa ženska, ki ima dobre zveze z Nemci, omreži Marjana, ki z njo izgub nedolžnost. Vojne je konec in partizani zmagajo. Nove oblasti po pomoti zaprejo tudi Marjana.
