Prof. Zlatina Kazlacheva and Assoc. Prof. Zhulieta Ilieva, the TexUnite Project members, were invited to participate in the TEXAD Project event with a focus on practical solutions for textile waste reduction and sustainable resource management, which was held on March 10-11, 2026, at Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. At the event, Prof. Kazlacheva made a presentation on 'Sustainable Design and Pattern Making Solutions for Sustainable Fashion.' It focused on fashion design and pattern making approaches that result in minimizing textile waste. In connection with the topic of the event, Prof. Kazlacheva presented the aim, objectives, and outcomes of the TexUnite Project. The event brought together over 30 participants from 7 countries: Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the Netherlands: TEXAD Project members, professors, and professionals in textiles and fashion.
