Alliance Slovenia currently consists of 3 schools in Slovenia - Kranj (named Red Eagle), Jesenice and Ljubljana run by Romero "Jacare" Cavalcanti student Neven Polajnar. In that short time we have built up a reputation in the European region for not missing competitions and generally doing very well in them. We have competitors, that train up to 6-7 times a week, thus improving their skills quickl

y and greatly. We collaborate closely with Alliance Croatia, who have been helpful in establishing our club. We have achieved much success in our short history and we don't intend to rest on our laurels, but to work harder. Our long term goals are to represent Alliance at the European and World championship, attend and win local tournaments and to cement our position as the highest quality grappling club in Slovenia! Alliance Slovenija trenutno sestavljajo trije klubi, v Ljublani, Kranju (Red Eagle) in na Jesenicah pod vodstvom Nevena Polajnarja, učenca slavnega Romera »Jacare«-ja Cavalcantija. Smo ponosni člani Alliance Jiu jitsu zveze. Brazilski jiu jitsu učimo že nekaj več kot 5 let. V tem kratkem času smo si pridobili ugled na Balkanu, da ne zamudimo nobenega tekmovanja in da smo navadno na njih zelo uspešni. Nekateri tekmovalci trenirajo od 6-7 krat na teden in zato postajajo boljši in boljši. Sodelujemo tudi s fanti iz Alliance Hrvaška, ki so nam tudi pomagali pri nastajanju kluba. Dosegli smo veliko uspehov v naši kratki zgodovini in ne mislimo počivati na lovorikah, ampak trenirati še bolj. Naši dolgoročni cilji so predstavljati Alliance na Evropskem prvenstvu in se udeleževati, ter zmagovati na lokalnih turnirjih in zacementirati naš položaj kot najbolj kakovosten grappling klub v Sloveniji.VEČ NA SPLETNI STRANI!

V soboto smo v sklopu športnega dogodka za otroke, predstavili preko 200 otrokom naš program samoobrambe za otroke. Treningom samoobrambe in jiu-jitsa se otroci v Kranju še vedno lahko pridružijo vsako sredo in petek ob 18.00. Vabljeni!!

We competed in Belgrade yesterday at the Serbian BJJ cup.
Aleks Andrejevič exceeded all expectations by winning two medals in his first competition ever. He got 3RD place in +100 kg and 2ND place in the absolute division.
Martin Zore got a silver medal in the white -82 kg division, after his opponent got 2 points for a throw that was worth an advantage at most.
Miha Perhavec competed in blue -82 and unfortunately injured his knee in the finals, after beating three opponents, so he had to settle for 2ND place.
