🌍✨ 0verseas Internship & Attachment Programme in Spain! From 16–29 June 2025, our Y3 students, Claire Hong, Zann Ho & Avis Cham embarked on a 2-week immersion at University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain! They were attached to areas such as Operating Theatre, Emergency & Hemodialysis. 💬 “I’m extremely grateful to have had this opportunity as well as the unwavering support from my family to pursue this rare experience. This experience has not only influenced my perspective in healthcare but also shed a new light through the global immersion aspect. SHSS recently collaborated with NParks for two community events on Pulau Ubin. The first event took place on May 31st, where a group of SHSS lecturers and students spent a delightful day at Pulau Ubin celebrating the Rice Dumpling Festival. These students engaged the elderly community on the island by crafting games and DIY projects.

SHSS returned to Pulau Ubin for a second event during Ubin Day, with Guest of Honour, Minister of Education and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration, Mr. Desmond Lee and Minister of State for the Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Trade and Industry, Mr. Alvin Tan. This event was part of the larger Pesta Ubin celebration, which ran from June 14th to 28th and included nature walks, cultural tours, and community activities under the theme "Living Heritage, Loving Biodiversity." We captivated the public with a dexterity game and a DIY booth where patrons made their own fragrance sachets.

Our educational and interactive booth was among many others invited to celebrate Pulau Ubin's rich blend of nature, culture, and community. #
