Swaddling a newborn has many pros, though not all swaddle types are made equal and may not "achieve" all 3 aims stated here!

When baby is not going to sleep or asleep, we strongly recommend encouraging plenty of movement to allow baby to loosen any tension they may have in their body, or explore and learn about their new world!

It wasn't mentioned explicitly, but it's evident from the announcements made during the yesterday that the policies aimed to are to incentivise families with kids to have larger families instead of trying to convince D***S to start families! Makes sense, because the research data definitely shows this is more effective, and on the other hand the most evidence-supported way to encourage starting families is to incentivise earlier marriages...much harder!

We have our own wishes/suggestions on this topic, and would love to hear yours!

Cut through the noise. Learn what actually matters.

I see this constantly: intelligent, capable people — the kind who run teams, close deals, make hard calls professionally every single day — completely stuck when it comes to figuring out what to prioritise about their own pregnancy or their own baby and family.

It's not a competence problem. It's a noise problem.

Everyone has an opinion. The internet has infinite content.
And somewhere in all of it are maybe 25–30 questions that actually determine whether the next two years feel manageable or chaotic.

Not "should I do baby-led weaning or purées" — honestly, either is fine.

More like: "when do I need to finish deciding how care arrangements will work once maternity leave ends" — because that one decision, made or avoided, quietly shapes almost everything downstream of it.

After a decade of doing this work, I finally sat down and wrote out exactly which questions cut through the noise, stage by stage — the ones that actually matter, not just the ones that are loudest.
