I never really encourage her to meditate with me. This is wonderful, but not very surprising to see her choose to meditate as needed.

What is your child's negative emotion that needs changing? How can we parent help? E.g. From being upset & frozen to proactively solve the problem.

1. Observe and notice the pattern.
2. Calm her and express your understand of her feeling.
3. When she is calm enough to listen, help her the demostrate the desired behavoiur, e.g. move on to clean up the mess.
4. Make her understand that change take time and practice.
5. Be patient and encourage her to be too.
6. So next time it happens, let's try that again.

It was Spirit Week at SAS. On December 5, it was called Career Day: Dress up as what you want to be in the future. ✨
Lulu confidently said, “I want to be a fashion designer!” 🎨👗
I told her it’s a wonderful dream, but I explained why some parents might hesitate—they see it as uncertain and difficult to rely on as a stable career. My husband shared his concerns too.
To encourage her, I suggested exploring another career she might also love—one she can work hard to achieve while keeping fashion design as a passion or side hustle. Her response? A smile. 😊
It’s amazing to see how even small conversations can plant seeds of possibility in our children’s minds.
