🇸🇬 Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond! | National Day 2026 @ CZPS

Our CZ Stars celebrated National Day through a meaningful journey of learning, shared experiences and celebration.

On 6 August, our National Day Carnival brought students together through traditional-inspired games and the iconic Dragon Playground, nurturing joy, teamwork and A Sense of Belonging.

On 7 August, students reflected on the values of our National Pledge through Kindsville and A-OK! activities, before coming together for the Observance Ceremony, workforce tribute, student performances, National Day workout and a heartfelt mass sing-along with August.

Through these experiences, our students deepened their Civic Literacy — appreciating Singapore’s heritage, recognising the contributions of others and understanding that everyone has a part to play in our shared future.

❤️ Together, we protect Singapore, build friendships, strengthen harmony and go beyond for our nation.

🌈 Our People, Our Tapestry: Every Kind Act Helps Us Belong 🌈

Chongzheng Primary School commemorated Racial Harmony Day with our vibrant Multiculturalism Festival 2026—a joyful school-wide experience that brought cultural understanding, kindness and inclusion to life for our CZ Stars.

This year’s celebration was especially meaningful as our partnership with the Singapore Kindness Movement gave CZPS the memorable opportunity to inaugurate the Multiculturalism Strand of the Friends of Singa Programme.

The day began with the interactive assembly programme, The Colours We Share, where storytelling, music, audience participation and Forum Theatre encouraged students to reflect on empathy, assumptions and the choices they can make to build true harmony.

Learning continued at recess through student-led experiences:

✨ Kahoot Harmony Quiz
🎮 Blooket Game Arena
🧵 Friendship Bracelet Craft
📦 Mystery Culture Box
🌈 Our Multiculturalism Tapestry
🦁 Kindsville Kindness Quests and a special visit from Singa

Our CCE Ambassadors and selected International and Singapore Permanent Resident students stepped forward confidently to guide their peers, facilitate the booths and share messages of respect, kindness and belonging.

We were also delighted to welcome two groups of K2 children from PCF Sparkletots, extending our preschool partnership and giving our young visitors an immersive and joyful introduction to multiculturalism.

Through every conversation, game, craft and colourful kindness strip, our students discovered an important truth:

Harmony is not created only through celebrations. It is strengthened each day through our words, choices and acts of kindness.

Many cultures. One caring community.
Every kind act helps us belong. ❤️

The Sports & Arts Fiesta, held on Friday, 17 July, marked the exciting culmination of our PAMFest celebrations. The day was filled with energy and enthusiasm as students participated in a variety of enriching experiences across Physical Education, Art, and Music.

Students from all levels took part in the highly anticipated Inter-Class Games, demonstrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and resilience. They were also treated to an engaging music programme in the school hall, where lively performances created a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere. In the classrooms, students explored their creativity through a range of hands-on art activities.

A special highlight of the day was the Roving Art Truck, which transformed our school into a mini museum. Featuring selected artworks from the National Gallery Singapore, the mobile exhibition provided students with a unique opportunity to appreciate art in an interactive and accessible setting.

Adding to the festive spirit, the ever-popular MILO van was a crowd favourite among both students and staff. Refreshing cups of iced MILO brought smiles all around, providing the perfect treat to round off a memorable day of learning, creativity, and celebration.

PAMFest returned this year from 15 to 17 July, bringing three days of excitement, creativity, and fun to our students.

Aligned with the theme, "Inspire • Create • Energize," the festival offered students a wide range of engaging activities during their recesses, including sports challenges, hands-on art and craft sessions, and opportunities to showcase their musical talents.

Through these experiences, students explored their interests, expressed their creativity, and celebrated learning beyond the classroom in a vibrant and enjoyable environment

CCA Leaders’ Investiture

On 26 May 2026, a CCA Leaders’ Investiture ceremony was held to celebrate the newly appointed CCA leaders and to recognise the efforts of our Senior CCA leaders who will be officially stepping down from their roles.

It was a proud moment for all newly appointed CCA leaders as they received their CCA leader badges from the three School Leaders. We also thank our Senior CCA leaders as they pass on the reins of leadership to their Juniors. We are certain that the CCA leaders will take pride in their new leadership roles and be good role models while exhibiting the school values.

Congratulations and thank you once again to all CCA leaders!

On 18 May 2026, our CZ Stars enjoyed a fun and meaningful Financial Literacy Festival in collaboration with POSB! 🌟

Through the assembly programme and recess engagement booths, students learnt about needs and wants, wise spending, savings, and responsible use of digital payments in today’s cashless world.

A special highlight was meeting Smiley, POSB’s mascot, who brought much joy and excitement to our students! 🐿️

Financial literacy is more than money knowledge. It is about making thoughtful choices, planning ahead and growing as responsible young citizens.

Smart choices today, bright futures tomorrow! 💙💛

Our school came together to celebrate Earth Day with a series of meaningful and engaging activities. On 20 April 2026, the students from the Environmental Science Club (ESC) conducted a pre-assembly sharing with practical ideas on what they can do at home, in school, and within the community to protect the Earth.

During recesses, there were varied learning experiences at the different booths, where students learned about Recycling, Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS), Microgreens and Energy in Singapore. They are also encouraged to write their pledge to protect the Earth. The activities reinforced the importance of individual responsibility and collective action.

Earth Day 2026 served as a powerful reminder that every small effort contributes to a larger impact in safeguarding our environment for the future. Happy Earth Day!

International Friendship Day 2026 — Build Friendships. Strengthen Singapore. 🇸🇬

Our students came together to celebrate International Friendship Day this week through meaningful experiences that deepened their understanding of friendship, respect and global connections. From engaging cultural activities to shared moments of learning about our ASEAN neighbours, our students discovered that friendship goes beyond fun—it helps keep Singapore strong in a complex world.

Through these experiences, our students learned an important lesson:
Small actions matter. Kind words, open minds and respectful hearts help build lasting friendships—both in Singapore and beyond.

Together, we continue to nurture confident, caring and responsible citizens who understand their role in building friendships and strengthening our nation.

Build Friendships. Strengthen Singapore.
