No State Remains Unchanged

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

“كُلُّ حَالٍ يَزُول”

“Kullu Halin Yazul,”

“Every state will pass.”

Every state and situation is always changing. Human beings experience many different things in their lives. They are babies, children, young adults – this is the normal cycle. Then they grow old and... well, their circumstances change with each passing moment.

Nothing remains unchanged. Everything in the world changes; don’t think of it as static. Change is inevitable. The only constant, the only unchanging is Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Therefore, people shouldn’t complain about their circumstances. Because no state or situation lasts forever in a person’s life; there will be hardship and there will be ease. The important thing is to find the right way and walk it, to go on the way of Allāh ﷻ. To remain unchanged, to continue at a constant level, is a great blessing, a great virtue. A person who finds this doesn’t need anything else. Because, as we said, no one is ever much satisfied with their current state. “I should do this, I should change that.” If you want to do better, if you want to do better things for the sake of service, for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, then change.

But if you say you’re bored there, you want to go somewhere else or seek other things - If you are comfortable where you are, there’s no need to go elsewhere or seek other things. If Allāh ﷻ has provided you your sustenance, then you are comfortable; that is, it’s not easy to change things. If Allāh ﷻ has given you good things, if there is no hardship, no suffering, then it is best to be content with it, stay there, and maintain your faith. If there is suffering, then you can pursue your sustenance elsewhere.

Therefore, these states, these human conditions, are many. People do some things, then regret them. They want to go back and change them, but by then it’s too late, or a change has occurred. They can’t.

Therefore, living this life comfortably is a good thing, not a bad thing. Our Prophet ﷺ said, “Do not seek hardship.” If you are comfortable, be comfortable. So, be grateful to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May His ﷻ blessings be everlasting. To be in a state of not needing anyone and your faith not being harmed is a great blessing. As we said, everything can change, everything can be changed.

Therefore, it is through gratitude that blessings perpetuate. You must make shukr. “My sustenance, my work, my family, everything is perfect.” Thank Allāh ﷻ so that things do not fall below this level, and that His ﷻ blessings may be everlasting. Because if you do not give thanks, then the blessing may slip away. When you alienate a blessing, it is difficult to find it a second time.

May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May He ﷻ keep us steadfast. May our state not change. May our love for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Prophet ﷺ not change, in shā’a Llāh. May these blessed days be perpetual upon us, and may we not be tested, for the sake of these blessed days, for the sake of the Mawlid (birth) of our Prophet ﷺ. May our way remain steadfast on this way forever, insha’Allāh.

Don’t Compromise your Religion for Dunyā

Mubarak the day of the birth of our Prophet ﷺ. Fifteen hundred years ago, our Prophet ﷺ came into this world. From this time, and indeed all the people until today are from the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ.

Allāh ﷻ sent our Prophet ﷺ as a gift. To be part of his ﷺ Ummah is a great blessing. To reject that would be considered foolishness.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ we are gathered here today, for the sake of Allāh ﷻ and the love of the Prophet. The atmosphere today, MashaAllah, is very similar to the atmosphere of Madīnah Munawwarah. It’s a little warmer, but beautiful. There is divine manifestation. Everything has a good side. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, for this good side. Everything comes to us with a good side.

Whatever happens, whatever we do, as long as it is for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, it is the good side. No matter how much trouble there is from others, in shā’a Llāh, there is no trouble for those who are on the way of our Prophet ﷺ. There is only the love of Allāh ﷻ for the sake of Allāh ﷻ.

Once that love is present, nothing else has an effect. The greatest gift from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is that He ﷻ places the love of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and the love of our Prophet ﷺ in our hearts; after that, nothing else matters. That is the most important thing. That is the most precious thing. If Allāh ﷻ grants us that precious thing with His ﷻ permission, in shā’a Llāh, it will remain in our hearts forever, it will never leave our hearts, in shā’a Llāh.

Because this is our greatest du’ā’. More than eating, drinking, or any kind of trouble, the greatest du’ā’ we should make is for our hearts to be filled with that love, to increase and continue without ever diminishing. This is the greatest virtue.

Once you are on the way of Allāh ﷻ, you will follow his ﷺ way and honor him ﷺ. You will give your life for our holy Prophet ﷺ, as he ﷺ wants. You mustn’t deviate from his ﷺ way. You mustn’t be a bad example to others. To say, “Look, this man is on the way of the Prophet, on this way, and look what he’s doing,” is the greatest evil. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from this.

May this way protect us. Let us not stray from the way. Those who stray from the way will perish.

Therefore, whatever worldly things they show you, do not accept them. Do not compromise on them. There is no compromise on your love for Allāh ﷻ and the Prophet ﷺ. Once a person gets used to compromising, a little bit here and there, neither faith nor Islām remains in him.

Therefore, the most important thing is the way of the Prophet ﷺ, the way of ṭarīqah, the way of madhhab, the way of Islām. There is nothing more precious than that. Even if they offered you the whole world, “deviate from this way, don’t believe in this, don’t do this” – or even if they offered you a small thing and said that the world will be yours, don’t accept it. Don’t compromise with it.

The more you compromise, the more you will be destroyed. The greatest destruction is losing your Hereafter. Don’t lose your Hereafter for worldly gain. Worldly gain is temporary. The Hereafter is eternal. If you give up your Hereafter for worldly gain, how will you look your Shaykh in the face in the Hereafter, how will you look our Prophet ﷺ in the face? You won’t be able to do so.

Therefore, one must be careful. Many people have given their lives, everything, for the sake of religion, so that they wouldn’t abandon their faith. Therefore, one must be careful about this. One must stay away from such things, one must not follow his ego.

May Allāh ﷻ not separate us from this way. May we not be disgraced us in the presence of our Prophet ﷺ. May we not be disgraced in the presence of the Mashāyikh. Do not give up your hereafter and being on this way for worldly gain.

BE WITH THE MOST TRUTHFUL صلى الله عليه وسلم

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim:

‎يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

(Qur’ān 09:119).

“Yā ‘Ayyuhā l-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū t-Taqū l-Llaha Wa Kūnū Ma’a s-Sādiqīn”

“O you who have believed, fear Allāh and be with the truthful.”

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla commands us to be with the truthful ones; to those who believe. The most truthful is our Prophet ﷺ,

‎“لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله صَادِقُ الوَعْدِ الأَمِينِ”

“La ilaha illa Allāh Muhammadun Rasulu Llah Sadiq ul-Waad al-Amin”.

The foremost truthful one, the one who is truthful, is our Prophet ﷺ. The command is to be with him ﷺ, to be with those who are on his ﷺ way. Stay away from those who are far from him ﷺ. Do not approach them. No benefit will ever come from them. Because they are only concerned with their own egos, they inflate their egos, and they do not allow anyone to speak to their egos. They are people who have absolutely nothing to do with truthfulness. They have nothing to do with trustworthy, trust, or loyalty.

That’s why, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to be with the good, the truthful. Truthful means people who don’t lie, who are honest; continue to be with them. Stay away from the others. The further you stay away, the better. Because their nature is greed, envy, and wickedness; nothing else. They never want the good of others or yours. They may appear as friends, but they are actually enemies.

Those who are friends are those who are on the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, on the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Prophet ﷺ; those are the good people.

‎ ‘’وَحَسُنَ أُولَٰئِكَ رَفِيقًا”

“Wa Ĥasuna ’Ūlā’ika Rafīqāan,”

“And how excellent these companions are.” (Qur’ān 04:69). What excellent companions they are! They are good people who are truthful to Allāh ﷻ, and Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla accepts them as truthful. Allāh ﷻ describes the qualities of those on the way of Allāh ﷻ, they are good companions, good friends, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to be with them.

So, you should continue to do everything for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, as Allāh ﷻ desires, remembering Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla every minute, and thanking Allāh ﷻ for being with these good people, checking whether you are on His ﷻ way or not. Of course, many states come upon a person. Good things will come, and trials will come.

Therefore, if you have good friends by your side, they will give you advice, tell you what to do, and help you. They will help you to walk the right way, the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. But of course, humankind thinks, “If I had done this, it would have been different.” No, it is Allāh’s ﷻ decree. One should say, “It is good as Allāh ﷻ decrees,” but your main duty is not to object.

Your duty is to accept what Allāh ﷻ has decreed. We are doing our best. If things turn out well, we will give thanks and praise to Allāh ﷻ. If there are trials, we will say, “That too is from Allāh ﷻ,” and we will not rebel.

Now, there are some new Muslims but many Muslims who say so, “Why is this happening to us? Why is this situation befalling us?” It’s not in your hands. It’s Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s decree. Whatever happens to a believer, a Muslim, has a reward. Nothing is in vain. Nothing goes in vain. You must know that. Of course, there are difficult times, very difficult times. It’s hard to be patient then. The more difficult it is, the greater the reward. To ensure that reward isn’t lost, you must be patient and rely upon Allāh ﷻ. The things Allāh ﷻ gives, the blessings – or however long He ﷻ grants you life, you will live that long. After that, it will be your reward. Then you will see the reward.

May Allāh ﷻ not give us tests we cannot bear. For the sake of this blessed month, and for the sake of our Prophet ﷺ. Our Prophet ﷺ teaches us all good things. He ﷺ says, “Don’t ask for patience.” Patience is difficult. Ask for Allāh’s ﷻ beneficence. Never say, “Let us be tested, let us be patient,” says our Prophet ﷺ. He ﷻ says, “Don’t ask for that.” May Allāh ﷻ protect us. It is a difficult thing.

Therefore, may He ﷻ always treat us with His ﷻ beneficence and not test us. We are not servants of testing, but servants of His ﷻ beneficence. We are beggars at His ﷻ door, seeking His ﷻ beneficence. In this blessed and beautiful month, may Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, for the sake of our Prophet ﷺ, not test us all. May He ﷻ always bestow upon us beauty and goodness, in shā’a Llāh.

THE MOST PERFECT HUMAN

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm,

“إنما بعثتُ لأتمّم مكارم الأخلاق”

“I was sent to perfect good qualities of character.” Ṣadaqa RasuluLlah fi-ma qāl aw k**a qāl.

Our Prophet ﷺ said, “I was sent to perfect good character.” Most importantly, I was sent to perfect adab, good manners, morals, and states in people. Because people learn gradually. From Adam ‘alayhi s-salām to the present day, every prophet taught something new.

Our Prophet ﷺ is the last and most perfect human being. Every beautiful virtue, attribute, quality, and skill is embodied in our Prophet ﷺ. He ﷺ is a human being, he ﷺ looks like humans, but in every respect our Prophet ﷺ was specially created by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

This month is the month of his ﷺ birth. Even when he ﷺ was born, he ﷺ was born while prostrating. The developmental stages of babies passed very quickly for him ﷺ; that is, after one, two, or three months, things progressed. His ﷺ movements and speech were very early compared to others, because he ﷺ was far superior to humans in terms of the capacity for endurance given to him by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. His ﷺ strength was both spiritual and physical. Because his ﷺ physical strength was immense. He ﷺ already had spiritual strength.

No human body could withstand the word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. A normal human body could not withstand the word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. No one could face our Prophet ﷺ. In terms of apparent strength, his ﷺ power is such that there’s a ḥadīth that two, three or even five people were not as strong as the Prophet ﷺ. Sayyidinā Omar said this ḥadīth.

Even if there were a thousand, even a ten thousand, they still wouldn’t match our Prophet’s ﷺ strength. Our Prophet ﷺ is stronger than a million people, in that apparent sense.

His ﷺ physical strength is such that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created him ﷺ different so that he could withstand spiritual strength. Our Prophet ﷺ was 63 years old – and even then, his ﷺ physical appearance was like that of a 30-year-old; his ﷺ beard was black, maybe five or ten white strands, or even less.

At 60, we all turn completely white. Of course, our Prophet ﷺ’s essence, his uniqueness, is one of a kind. Our Prophet ﷺ is worth the whole world. Therefore, Allāh ﷻ created him ﷺ as such to carry all these states.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we are from his ﷺ ummah. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ. Some people - we will say that again. If Non-Muslims say that, we might understand. But for a Muslim to say, "He’s a man just like you and me,” is completely illogical and unreasonable.

Every aspect and state of our Prophet ﷺ’s life was a miracle. Miracles are attributed to them, and karamāt are for ‘awliyā. So, for those who came after him ﷺ it’s not called a miracle. Miracles cannot be done by anyone else. Those are only for prophets. They exist in all of them. Our Prophet ﷺ had them.

There were countless miracles in the life of our Prophet ﷺ. Some are well-known, some are very well-known. Some that people believed and some they didn’t believe, but of course, all true ones became well-known. He ﷺ split the moon in two. Water flowed from his ﷺ hand. He ﷺ gave water to all the thirsty companions. A gazelle came and spoke to him ﷺ. Insects and animals spoke in front of our Holy ‎Prophet ﷺ. There are many miracles in the life of the Prophet ﷺ.

Therefore, as we said, some who claim to be Muslims but deny the miracles have zero faith. They may be a Muslim; it’s just a word uttered from the mouth.

Everyone who says “La ilaha illa Allāh” is a Muslim, but they are not necessarily people of faith. People of faith are those who follow the way of our Prophet ﷺ, believe in him ﷺ, respect him ﷺ, honor him ﷺ, and glorify him ﷺ. No one has been created greater than him ﷺ.

Regardless of anything else, our Prophet ﷺ is above all religions in every respect. He ﷺ does not discriminate against people based on race. Everyone is part of the Prophet’s ﷺ ummah. All people are from his ﷺ ummah. Even the jinn are from his ﷺ ummah.

Those who accept our Prophet ﷺ are part of his ﷺ ummah. Those who don’t - that’s their business. Let them do whatever they want later on. They will regret it. Our Prophet ﷺ opened his ﷺ way to everyone. Come and benefit from this blessing. If you say you don’t want it, then it’s up to you.

May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May people not be mislead; especially, Muslims. May they not harm those who follow the way of our Prophet ﷺ, and may they not look down upon those who show him ﷺ reverence.

Because, unfortunately, shayṭān has deceived people these days. There are many who claim to be Muslim but do not show respect to our Prophet ﷺ.

May Allāh ﷻ improve them. May Allāh ﷻ grant them guidance, in shā’a Llāh.

OBEY ALLĀH ﷻ AND OUR PROPHET ﷺ

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says,

‘‘وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ”
“Wa ‘Aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa ‘Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa ‘Aţī`ū Ar-Rasūla La`allakum Turĥamūn”
“And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy.”(Qur’ān 24:56). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Obey Allāh ﷻ and obey the ‎Prophet ﷺ, so that He ﷻ may treat you with mercy and compassion.”

The second part of the Khutbah is this Ḥadīth Sharif: which says that hearts become rusty. Just as iron rusts. When iron rusts, it needs to be cleaned. If the rust is removed, then it can be used. Rust causes it to slowly decay. The heart shouldn’t become rusty. The rust refers to darkness, disbelief, faithlessness, and all kinds of wicked things; it darkens the heart, rendering it unusable. Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n cleanses it, polishes it, and increases faith.

Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n was sent to our Prophet ﷺ through his ﷺ holy tongue, and the word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla reached us through him.

Now, some people say, “We don’t need the Qur’ān, we don’t need our ‎Prophet’s ﷺ ḥadīths.” However, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla said it specifically:

‎“أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ,”
“Aṭiū’ Llāha wa aṭiū’ r-Rasūla”
“Obey Allah and obey the Messenger.”(Qur’ān 04:59). Obey Allāh ﷻ, and obey the ‎Prophet ﷺ. That sign is to understand that: the beautiful words spoken by our Prophet ﷺ are the essence of Islām, everything is there.

Without the ḥadīths, nothing would be understood. And Allāh ﷻ does what He ﷻ wills anyway. Allāh ﷻ has commanded this. You must obey it.

Anyone who says, “I don’t need the Prophet, I can figure it out myself,” has already knocked themselves out from the start. They’ve thrown themselves off the right way, it’s a disaster. Because Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n was explained, read, and written through our Prophet ﷺ. Everything is through our Holy ‎Prophet ﷺ. How can you deny that? He ﷺ is the foundation of the religion, the foundation of Allāh’s ﷻ way: our Prophet ﷺ.

A person who lacks respect for him ﷺ has nothing of īmān. They may only say they are “Muslim” with their tongues; may Allāh ﷻ protect us from that. And they might go without īmān because of that.

Therefore, this month is the month of Mawlid, the month of the birth of our Prophet ﷺ. We send salawāt, takbir, and tahlil upon him ﷺ, asking Allāh ﷻ to accept our good deeds and acts of worship through him. We make him our intercessor, saying, “There is no good in the prayers we perform, no good in anything we do. We only present it to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla for the sake of our Prophet ﷺ.”

When we do this, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will not reject it. Otherwise, there is no good in what we do, neither in what we recite, nor in anything else with our ego. We present it as sinful.

Some people think of themselves as something important, saying, “The Prophet’s intercession is not necessary, I do it myself.’ But what you do is like a rag; it’s worthless. Because you have mixed good with bad deeds. You have defiled, polluted, and made impure something pure. You do that and then you stand before Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They will throw it back in your face. If you present your worship in such a disrespectful and impolite way, they will say, “Take this and get out!”

If you bring your deeds and show disrespect to our Prophet in the presence of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, thinking it’s something important, that will not be accepted at all.

Therefore, we present everything we do with the barakah and intercession of our Prophet ﷺ. May Allāh ﷻ guide people. The shayṭān is playing with people. Especially now, during this month of Mawlid Sharīf, shayṭān and those who are with him are even more enraged.

Who are those who are with shayṭān? Those who do not respect our Prophet ﷺ. Those who do not know his ﷺ worth and value are the playthings of shayṭān. Therefore, may Allāh ﷻ bring them to their senses, may they be guided, and may they come to the right way, in shā’a Llāh.

Our intention is what our Prophet ﷺ taught: mercy. We will be merciful, and we hope that they will be guided to the right way, in shā’a Llāh.

LUCKY ARE WHO HONOR HIM ﷺ

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we are in this month of Mawlid. It is the month in which our Prophet ﷺ graced this world with his ﷺ blessed presence. Celebrating this blessed month, rejoicing every day, is the believer’s endless praise Allāh ﷻ.

Being from the ummah of Prophet ﷺ is a great honor. To revere and love everything he ﷺ did, everything he ﷺ performed, everything about him ﷺ is a great blessing for us. It is a great virtue and a great blessing for those who can do it.

Those who cannot do it are unfortunate and unlucky. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has not granted them that virtue. They have been deprived of it. The shayṭān has deprived them of that virtue. The shayṭān’s greatest characteristic is stubbornness, jealousy, and envy. Envy: It’s the kind of envy that makes people think, “I don’t honor the Prophet ﷺ. Why do others honor him?” They are always hostile to those who honor the Prophet ﷺ, follow his ﷺ way, and practice his ﷺ Sunnah. They think, “These people are bad, they are associating partners with Allāh ﷻ; making shirk. They don’t believe in Allāh ﷻ. This Prophet was a man just like us. If you honor him ﷺ, you are committing shirk, you are associating partners with Allāh ﷻ.”

The shayṭān has deceived them in this way. They have been deceived and are ruined. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

Those who love our Prophet ﷺ and go on his ﷺ way are very fortunate people. Their luck is eternal. It’s not that you might say “I’m lucky” sometimes, but that matter will pass and be over. But a person who loves our Prophet ﷺ is a fortunate person; Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has bestowed upon him that virtue, given him from His ﷻ grace and generosity. That person will be eternally in happiness and beauty, shukr to Allāh ﷻ.

May Allāh ﷻ protect us from those who do not follow the way of our Prophet ﷺ, who do not love or respect him ﷺ. They may even abandon their faith and die without faith. Those who go on this way go on the way of our Prophet ﷺ.

If someone leaves that way and says, “I am a Muslim, but I don’t need to honor this or that,” then others will be like him. And these are the people who have gone astray, people who have lost their way. May Allāh ﷻ grant mind and understanding to Muslim people.

There are people like this until now. I don’t want to mention their names now. “This man was a great scholar, this one was like this, this one was like that.” There are many foolish Muslims who honor them. Because they have not accepted the way of our Prophet ﷺ. “We can do so. We can renew Islām.” Those who do not honor our Prophet ﷺ through these ways will surely follow such an evil person. They will perish, and so will he.

Therefore, honoring and respecting our Prophet ﷺ on every occasion and in every means is a great act of worship. The greatest act of worship is to follow the way of our Prophet ﷺ to honor him ﷺ,and to respect himﷺ.

This month, as we said, is Rabi’ al-Awwal, the month of Mawlid. In that month, Muslims of old times used to celebrate it a lot, they used to do many things, but now people’s minds have been so confused that most people are bewildered. But still, those who are fortunate will follow the way of our Prophet ﷺ. They honor and revere every atom of him ﷺ, and seek his ﷺ intercession. That is what a Muslim should do.

As we said, others are unfortunate. The shayṭān has played with them, they have become puppets in shayṭān’s hands. They harm themselves and harm others. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from their evil.

LOVE HIM ﷺ TO PERFECT YOUR ĪMĀN

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we have reached the blessed month of Rabi’ al-Awwal. In shā’a Llāh, we will celebrate our Holy ‎Prophet’s ﷺ birthday together in Cyprus, in the presence of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim. Everyone sees that the barakah, compassion, and protection of our Prophet ﷺ are upon those who love him.

Those who love our Holy ‎Prophet ﷺ also love Allāh ﷻ. Those who do not love our Holy ‎Prophet ﷺ love shayṭān. This must be known. Because he is the human shayṭān hates the most. When he was forced to appear before our Prophet ﷺ and commanded to tell the truth, he said, “I do not love you.” He was asked many questions; finally, when asked, “Whom do you hate the most?”, shayṭān said to our Prophet ﷺ, “I do not love you.”

Therefore, those who do not love our Prophet ﷺ love shayṭān; there is no other way, no third option.

Certainly, the love of our Prophet ﷺ should be most present in our hearts. Our Prophet ﷺ said, “For your faith to be perfect, you must love me more than everyone in the world; more than yourselves, your mothers, your fathers, and your children.” If faith is not perfect, that love will not reach that level. However, it is still necessary for this love to be present in our hearts, even if only a little.

Some people who claim to be “Muslims” say, “He’s just a human being like you and me, he died and is gone.” AstaghfiruLlah! And they confuse other Muslims by claiming to be “Muslims.” Shayṭān leads people astray and deviates them through them. Because without the intercession of our Prophet ﷺ, none of our deeds are of any use.

You can worship for a million years, but if there is no love and respect for our Prophet ﷺ in your heart, it will be of no benefit.

May Allāh ﷻ bless these days. May we attain the intercession of our Prophet ﷺ, in shā’a Llāh. May we reside near him in Paradise, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ make it blessed and of goodness, in shā’a Llāh.

DON’T INTERFERE IN WHAT DOESN’T CONCERN YOU

Our Prophet ﷺ says, “Do not interfere in everything.” He said, “Do not interfere in things that are not your business and do not concern you.” A person who possesses the beautiful morals of Islam does not interfere in such things.

“مِنْ حُسْنُ إِسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ، تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ”

“Min ḥusni islami l-mar’i, tarkuhu mā lā ya‘nīh”

“Part of the perfection of one’s Islām is his leaving that which does not concern him.”

He should not interfere in things that are not necessary for him. It is acceptable if he is attending to his own affairs and helping his family and friends. But he should stay away from things that are completely irrelevant, things that wouldn’t benefit him whether he interfered or not.

One already has many things to do; as long as he’s on the way of Allāh ﷻ, there’s no need to look at anything else. Every person has a different duty. To help him fulfill his duty, you should say, “May Allāh ﷻ help him.”

If you think you can achieve something by interfering in his work and giving him advice, things will get worse if he listens to you; it’s better if he doesn’t. Because Allāh ﷻ has given everyone a duty to perform; everyone has their own work and responsibilities. One person can’t do what another can; one person can’t study what another can study. Everyone has their own separate tasks. Everyone must know their limits. Say, “My limit is here, I don’t know what goes beyond this.” There are experts who know what’s beyond this.

Because nowadays, people all think of themselves as all-knowing. They interfere with everyone, saying, “You will do this, you will do that.” Or, they tell others, “I heard this, I heard that.” What you heard is different, what you understood is different, what you saw is different. Those are things you don’t know; don’t interfere in them. If you don’t interfere, you will be at ease, and you will make others at ease too.

Therefore, this is a beautiful saying of our Prophet ﷺ. For the good of mankind, he says, don’t interfere in things you don’t know. That is important, very important. Control yourself, your ego. Know your limits, don’t go beyond them. If you know things, you can tell people. There is no need to tell others about things you don’t know, just because you heard them by word of mouth.

May Allāh ﷻ protect us. This is already a strange time. Therefore, if you don’t want to cause yourself a headache and stress, don’t interfere; don’t interfere in matters that don’t concern you. May Allāh ﷻ protect us all from fitnah, there are many fitnahs. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. Allāh ﷻ rewards people according to their intentions. So many shukr to Allāh ﷻ.
