The children and teachers commemorated the nation’s birthday today with a series of activities!
Ms Wendy led the first activity - cookery, guiding the children to replicate the Singapore flag using white bread, jam, honey stars and cheese cut into the cresent moon. The children had so much fun, showing alot of Inventiveness and aesthetic expression with their individual flags. Next, Teacher Si Ying presented on the SG60 events in Singapore and explained the significance behind SG60. Some children also led the school in singing iconic National Day songs. Lastly, the children went for a walk around the compound where they offered to apply national day tattoos to our fellow neighbours in the building. What a fun and meaningful morning it was! Thank you parents for assisting to dress the children up and bringing the flags along. Happy National Day and weekend to all! 🇸🇬
