SG50: Martial Apprenticeship

SG50: Martial Apprenticeship The SG50 project began as a chronicle of 4 veteran martial artists in Singapore as they took youths on an 9 week apprenticeship journey in 2015.

Since then, we continue to curate good articles and stories on traditional Chinese martial arts. 新加坡的传统武术，随早期的华族移民而来，有着丰富的文化底蕴。发展到上世的纪七八十年代，新加坡在东南亚曾是颇具规模的武术中心，但在高速现代化的今日新加坡，许多传统武术教练已渐渐地不为人所知。

这个项目致力于：
1) 创造一个平台从而使新加坡年轻人能从50岁以上的武林前辈们学习传统武术。学习期为8周。

2) 项目策划组将全程记录为期8周的培训课程，也将访问武林前辈们和学生。视频剪辑会每周上载到网站和面簿上，这将帮助重燃社会对传统武术的兴趣，并持续下去。

项目及宗旨：
• 武术是把过去、现在和未来融为一体的生动教材，它通过形体训练来提升人们的生存意志和应变能力。
• 为新加坡武术爱好者创造一个平台，

从而使新加坡年轻人可以向富有经验的武林前辈/教练学习传统武德。
• 将传统武术的来源、历史、于传承用多媒体记录与保存。
• 记录年轻人向武术教练学习的过程并上载到网络上。
• 通过武术训练将强化国民教育信息，为新加坡年轻人提供了又一个价值观教育的平台。
