11.11 Great sales day but it leaves an even greater impact on our planet due to our mindless consumerism.
Earth Overshoot Day reflects the date we’ve gone over the threshold of using up an entire year’s worth of resources. In 1970, It's December 30. In 2021, it's Jul 29 (this means we need 1.7 earths to sustain us) And for Singapore alone, our date is Apr 10 😱
Before you click 'Shop now' or 'Add to cart', think twice 'Do I really need it? Is there a greener option?'
What affects our planet affects us. What's good for our planet is good for us!
Happy 11.11 guys!

This also means a lower carbon footprint was taken to bring the food to your tables.”
