What do you think education will look like in 2065? At a specially curated Education Conversations session for youth leaders, students spoke about their hopes, discussed challenges, and shared possible actions. This session is a Futures Thinking Workshop conducted by the LKYSPP, as part of the National Youth Council Singapore Leaders Course.
The Education Conversations is the next chapter of MOE’s effort to engage the public in re-envisioning Singapore’s education system. We invite students, parents, educators, and the wider public to be part of the conversation.
Your views matter. Visit go.gov.sg/educonvo to sign up for a public face-to-face session, read about others’ views, or share your feedback online.

📢 Beware of impersonation scams 📢
Government officials will NEVER do these things over a phone call:
1. Ask you to transfer money;
2. Ask you to disclose bank log-in details;
3. Ask you to install mobile apps from unofficial app stores;
4. Transfer your call to Police.
If you receive an SMS from the government, make sure it is sent from the gov.sg SMS Sender ID*.
Scammers may cite your personal information (e.g. name or NRIC number) to appear legitimate. Do not automatically trust someone just because he/she has your personal information.
Call the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799 to check if you are unsure if something is a scam.
*Exceptions apply for National Service call-ups and emergency services. Read more about these at www.sms.gov.sg/exceptions.
For more information on how to protect yourself against scams, please visit www.scamshield.gov.sg.

Has “success” for our children become a narrow path defined by grades, titles and future salaries?
In this episode of our Canteen Chats with Lion Mums, guest speakers discuss the emotional toll this mindset takes on both parents and children. We all want to give our kids the “best” opportunities, which we might not have enjoyed when we were younger. But what happens when those efforts don’t lead to the results we expect?

How do you let your children grow on their own terms? For the Suons, it’s accepting small inconveniences like sending their boys to different schools. And it’s all based on a simple philosophy they came up with when they became parents.
