The Special Programme in Science (SPS) is an academic programme within the Faculty of Science that develops students' scientific reasoning and independent research capabilities through an interdisciplinary approach. We provide opportunities for students to participate in scientific investigations on topics at the forefront of modern scientific endeavours.

Anyone with a passion for the sciences and a desire to excel can also look forward to access to our SPS-exclusive facilities as well as joining the tight-knit community that inhabits them!

On May 11, we celebrated the graduation of the SPS Class of 2026 with our annual Dean's Tea and Mentors' Appreciation Night 🥳!!

From enjoyable games and performances, to speeches by the deans and valedictorians, we hope that our graduating SPS peers were able to end their university journey on a high and happy note 🥹
